One of the most CREAMIEST and delightful lip balms ever! 💘
Finding a good lip balm can be such a PAIN. It becomes like it's own journey when you can no longer find what you're used to, if it's suddenly out of stock, or the cost is just too high. Initially, I LOVED using the Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Balm from Sephora but at $28, that's only easy to maintain if you've got a higher income or care none whatsoever about getting out of the paycheck-to-paycheck life so many of us are accustom to.I eventually discovered the Uriage Xemose Moisturizing Lipstick on Amazon at $10, which I was content with. I liked it so much that I kept buying it every month but then that went out of stock. Since then, I've tried La Roche-Posay Nutritic Lip Balm at approx $15 but really don't like it at all. I kind of hate that it has no smell whatsoever and on top of that, it doesn't really feel "creamy." It feels like it just sits on top of the lips, kind of like that Clinique face "gel" or whatever it's called; it doesn't feel like it really sinks into the lips/skin. I like using creams as opposed to lotions (yes, there is a difference, look it up lol) and I'd compare that (the La Roche-Posay one) more to the texture of a lotion than a cream. So then I tried THIS, the Avene Cold Cream Nutrition Nourishing Lip Balm and I LOVE IT. I love how lightly fragrant it is and I love how CREAMY it is. It reminds me of my L'occitane 5% Shea Butter Light Comforting Face Cream and it smells similar too! Even if that face cream is described as "light," (there is a much thicker 25% version but it can make your face very shiny lol) it's still a cream and incredibly nourishing for the skin and this lip balm is too. I really, really, really wish that the cost was closer to $10 than $15 BUT I'm happy with it and don't plan on experimenting with anymore lip balms for a while. Some may say that this is still too much money and I don't entirely disagree but I do feel it's high quality compared to many others and worth the price. Additionally, I REALLY like that this is a European product and not made in the states. EU doesn't allow nearly as many chemicals in food or skincare products and that makes me feel reassured that it's safe to use.BTW, I'm used to having extremely chapped and damaged, bit up lips and this lip balm helps me A LOT. I use ADHD medication and unfortunately, sometimes that means biting my lips to oblivion. I've worked on controlling the compulsion to prevent them from getting destroyed however, I'm not perfect and this lip balm is an amazing and healing life savor for when they're not doing great (or even end up bleeding from too much biting, ew, I know) or for when I want to maintain them at their best.I highly recommend this item. I would buy it for all of my girlfriends and even all of my female clients if I wasn't on a budget, that's how much I like this!

Great!
According to Amazon I've purchased these 19 times so I may as well leave a review! I started ordering this item in May of last year as I was on a hunt to find something better for my lips. I used to just use "chapstick" and then my go to for years was carmex but I would have to apply and apply and apply, while they are cheap it just wasn't helping. I tried Aquaphor per recommendation and it's disgusting, I don't like how Burt's Bee's burn my lips. I was googling for recommendations and this one popped up. Initially I wasn't thrilled, as I mentioned I've used Carmex for so long that they thought of spending over $10 on ONE lip balm didn't really interest me. Also, I am one of those people who like to keep one in my desk, in my car and near my bed at home. So that can add up. However, since I've started to use this product it has quickly become my favorite! It works really well with my dry lips and it feels soft and doesn't have a horrible after taste like the Aquaphor! I will agree that for the price, it doesn't last as long as I wish it would and I also feel like I'm throwing a little bit out each time I get towards the end. It has a curved edge around it, which make it impossible to apply to the lips when it's that low. So there are probably a good 4-5 uses I am throwing away and like I said after 19 purchases, that can definitely add up to a lot of waste. I'll keep buying these, especially when they are on sale on Amazon but hopefully they'll figure out a way to get a little product in the tube for the price.

Must have for winter months
This particular cold cream line is 10/10. The lip and hand care really work and my skin drinks this up and the moisture last so I don’t have to reapply too often.

Works great on dry lips.
Love this product. I keep this product by my recliner and bedside. I use it several times a day. I apply it at bedtime and it pretty much lasts all night. Have used several containers and am well satisfied with this product.

Amazing at healing cracked, dry, split, peeling lips. Runs out fast.
I first bought this at Ulta for $14 ish. My lips were severely cracked and bleeding due to Winter. None of my normal chapsticks or lip balms were working (and yes I was getting plenty of water.)This healed my lips in about 2.5 days but I felt instant relief with how moisturizing it felt on my lips. This cold creme does not feel stick or goopy at all. It is smooth and feels nice I barely notice it. The scent is also very neutral and pleasant, good for those who are sensitive to smell! Taste wise there is nothing to me. Maybe a very faint sweetness but it is not very noticeable anymore since I'm so used to this cold creme I just glide it on and don't give it a second thought.I do have a bad habit of biting my lips, but this makes my recovery time soo much better and helps with the pain from my bad habit.I have used every stick down to the very last particle. It's that good for me personally.I have had one tube destroyed in the laundry because I left it in my pants pockets and it did not survive one bit. The seal is not washing machine proof but it would be okay in the rain or if it feel into some water for a little bit of time.My only complaint is I feel as if it doesn't last too long and it's not enough product for how much I paid for it initially. I guess with daily to every other day usage it lasted about a month and a half for me using about..2 to 3 times a day. This is my 4th time purchasing this. (First two times in store at Ulta for $14 ish until I found it on amazon for $17 the first time (it was sold out at Ulta and I was desperate as my lips hurt that bad) then for $10.5 on sale the second time.
