Well I wanted a PC to replace my old Lenovo Laptop. So was searching for a small and compact desktop and this fit the bill perfectly. Its nearly the same size and has dual Display port for Display and enough USB ports for all the devices without needing any dock, I was using before with my Laptop. The PC works fast and I did get a free upgrade later on to Win 11 by MS. The key to choose such a computer is to first understand the purpose and then to compare it with a reasonable older computer you would have ever experienced to be a success. Ofcourse a top of the line i7 or i9 be 10 or 20 times faster but does a normal person need that power...Infact I have a dedicated i9 PC for other purpose and wanted a lower power consumption PC to do email, little bit of photo editing, games which my kids play sometime and MS office stuff...all this worked with flying colors here with enough power to spare. So I would suggest to a new buyer to get the details on the Processor and compare its benchmarks with the old computer Processor first to understand if you would like this model or need even more powerfull computer..In my case, I had a older generation 4 core processor which used to be all the time using 100% its processing capacity with simple stuff, so I know I was getting bogged down on the Processor Power than memory or SSD or anything else..So this PC being a 6 core and I guess 2 -3 generations later is much faster with more memory and HP reliability... The product infact came in well packaged and shows no sign of damage or any excessive usage. I would say you cannot go wrong with this PC if you are playing your cards correctly.

Fast little computer, using it today as a dual screen tech bench, computer works great and very compact

This refurbished computer from Ricada Online for $125 is an excellent buy. The condition was pristine and 100% operational. As with any refurb you need accept the listing will not be accurate as to components included. The 512gb drive came as an NVME (great) and included a 256gb SSD (O/S drive). It included 16gb (2x8gb) memory sticks so dual channel (yay). It also had the HDMI adapter installed (many don't come with that and it wasn't mentioned in the product description). It did not come with an optical drive, wireless adapter or bluetooth adapter.Pros: as of this writing an I5-8500 CPU alone from Amazon is $139 - so a great bargain, include the memory, drives and the O/S plus the multiple USB ports and you couldn't go wrong.Cons: As mentioned previously, parts listed in the product description not included. This is unfortunate but I expect common occurrence when Amazon lists many different refurb houses as sellers but doesn't verify the accuracy of their actual offering. The only option offered by Amazon is to return the entire system rather than just supplying the missing parts. So, check and double check before you hit that Buy button..

We're using this as a media center PC (streaming and DVR). The PC came with Windows 10 Pro, clean installation. We did a clean Windows 11 Pro upgrade. Earlier versions of this particular model are not upgradeable to Windows 11. The power supply is lower wattage (perfect for us, but not great if you're gaming and adding high power discrete graphics). The dvd tray, auto open mechanism, was broken. The vendor responded immediately with a replacement. The vendor supplied two USB adapters: (1) Display Port to HDMI and (2) WiFi. This unit, with a small power supply cooling fan and a CPU cooling fan, is extremely quiet with good airflow. There are a couple of small wear related cosmetic imperfections which, as advertised, are only visible upon very close examination. Price / value, quality and customer service equal 5 stars happy. This HP model is a pleasure to work on.

What checks out is the SSD and processor and the RAM. It had no optical drive, no WiFi, no Bluetooth, no PCIe hard drive, no mouse, no keyboard, huge scuffs and paint ding dong on top. Bent rear panel hook that did not let me take off the cover. Only one SATA power cable connector so a second drive couldn't have worked as I wanted to put in a storage. This setting should be priced at 100 dollars not more. Disappointing that the description does not even cover half of what you get. Sent back for replacement to see if anything changes.

I ordered 2 of these to replace my Windows 11 incompatible systems. The product description indicates they have an optical drive and a 512GB PCIe SSD. One of the systems had an 800GB SATA SSD and the other a 480GB SATA SSD. Neither of the systems had an optical drive. I was going to send them back but then I realized they were still a good value. They did have the PCIe slot available and I was going to clone my old systems to upgrade. I really don't need an DVD drive and have a portable USB3 if I do, so I bought 2 PCIe 512GB SSDs and replaced the SATA SSDs they sent. They should send what they say they are sending.I probably should have sent them back but they are working well on Windows 11 with very little extra effort on my part. I'm just out the SSDs and optical drives.

This runs a 1080 twitch stream while running obs and recording simultaneously and running background music and multiple tabs while i download videos in the background and ive never had it over 30 percent cpu usageThis would be good for that or a modest home theater or office pc if you added a low profile gpu (3050] i imagine you could play games titles released thru 2024 with concessions
