use is "clan at home" app and not smart life as described on product description, also Alexa will not recognise it, but on the plus side the app is easy to use

I bought these for the Christmas lights. I had some old mechanical ones which made an annoying noise. Took me a few goes to get them set up, but they work fine. Got them on lamps now. I guess I can switch them on in the app. I can’t see me doing that.

I wanted my lights outside to be operational all year round as I currently have solar ones that are dependent on the sun to work and even then they don’t work all night.I purchased low energy string lights and fed through my bedroom window and plugged the timer into the plug and electric outlet voila I have lights.Very low cost to run my low energy lights as per my smart meter.The timer was so easy to set up once I downloaded the app and it works perfectly.The app does show you how many units of electricity you are using but it doesn’t seem that reliable or understandable to me and frankly as I have my smart meter I don’t require itThe light can also be switched on and off manually or via the appIt can also be linked to Alexa and Google if you wish!You do get push notifications if you set it up and if the light is off line. you can also add multiple products in the line. You are also able to set up timers and scenes I’m just using the basics, just on and off at a set time which is all I need. But when I go away I will add random times and days for it to go in and offI wish I’d bought 2 or more as it works out cheaper and would have represented better value rather than buying just the one which does not!I have been using it everyday for a month now with no issues whatsoeverPerfect for when I go away

I can’t get this product to work so wouldn’t recommend it! The company are very helpful but as they are only open 9.30-4.30 min to Fri it’s difficult for me to speak to them so have had to just give up. Waste of money…

Had been working fine until this morning when it was emitting a clicking sound. Removed it from the socket and took in to another room so that I could check the connection on the app. As soon as I switched the power on, it promptly went off with a bang and a flash and blew the fuse in my kitchen. Scorch marks are visible across the light and main pin hole.

Bought in order to control outdoor Christmas lighting from inside the house. Easy to install and set up using the app. Simply link to WiFi. Easily set up timed operation which can be overridden as and when necessary. On some days I turned the lights on earlier than the set time. I was worried that the plug being positioned in our garage might not maintain its link with the WiFi in the house - but there was never a problem. With Christmas over I’ve moved the plug inside and use it to operate a lamp in our hall. Good to be able operate it when we’re are out. An excellent product and a good price.

Great product ,I can switch items on and off in the home from anywhere with my phone.First reasonably priced product I’ve seen enabling me to switch on some heating in my property from 200 miles away to prevent pipes freezing.Setting up has had to be manual in the two locations I tried it .Automatic mode didn’t work for me but instructions clear.Will be ordering more soon.

I wanted to be able to control switches remotely and also timed if needed. These are neat looking, really easy to set up and work so easily from the app. Very happy with this purchase. I must be, because I hardly ever leave reviews! 😁
