Lovely buttery taste
These are really tasty, protein-enriched cookie treats with a very decent helping of choc chips mixed into the recipe. I say 'protein-enriched' as they're definitely at the 'protein treat' end of the market rather than 'diet protein'. They'll take a fair chunk out of your calorie allowance (344 cals) with 16g fat (8.3g sat fat) and 25g of sugar (obviously why they taste so nice!).That said, the fat content seems mainly from the butter rather than any artificial ingredients, and one of the best things about these cookies is that they do have a really nice, natural, home-baked taste thanks to the (comparatively) short ingredient list.Texture-wise, they're slightly firmer and a bit crumblier than my usual taste in soft cookies, although they make excellent coffee dippers. If you're in a bulking phase, they're absolutely great - a substantial nutritional whack, and very enjoyable too! Even if you're not, it's worth making a bit of room for them in your allowance for a special pre- or post-workout treat.

Not particularly healthy, based on amount of sugar and caloric content
I bought these since I was looking for protein cookies (that are low in sugar). I'd suggest the seller add a photo of the ingredients on the posting, as this would have avoided me buying them, thinking they aren't so high in sugar and calories - I only realised this after eating one of them and then checking (my fault, as if I'd have scrolled down and read the description, I'd have seen it)Didn't like the grainy texture and overly sweet taste either.

Really tasty
I like these - they have a great texture on the crunchier side rather than the chewy types. They smell and taste lovely. Each one is around 260 calories - now in that respect with regards gym work these would be great if you are trying to bulk up, if you were trying to lose weight they may not be ideal. Also if you are managing your protein intake each one only packs 12g of protein whereas many snack bars have anything up to 20g of protein for about 60 less calories.BUT the great thing about these is that many, many protein snacks have a kind of synthetic/artificial after taste - these don't, they taste great. On top of that many protein based snacks are chewy - and as I mentioned earlier these have a more biscuit like texture - and these are both big plusses. They come individually sealed in strong wrapping which I can't imagine splitting if shoved into a gym bag or back pack for that mid trail snack. So aside from the gym and forgetting the protein aspect these are also perfect for a snack while out biking, walking or just as an accompaniment to a brew - suitable for vegans too.

Quite calorie and sugar dense at 366 calories/25g per cookie, gritty in texture
A few years ago I was all over protein snacks and supplements following a strict health plan so have a fair bit of experience with protein snacks. Upon trying these cookies I was initially impressed with the smell first of all, a hint of vanilla but smelt fresh and appealing. After biting in the flavour is good, there’s not an overwhelming flavour of protein like a lot of similar snacks on the market and there were plenty of chocolate chips for those with a sweet tooth. I personally found the texture to be rather crumbly initially and then very gritty which I’m not sure is due to the protein or the sugar but it’s not a texture I enjoyed.Granted, for a "protein" snack the flavour is good but, and it’s a big BUT.. they’re actually very calorie dense and contain a whopping 25g of sugar per cookie. At almost 400 calories each I don’t think they’re as healthy as suggested. I get it, they’re for people looking for a sweet treat on a diet but honestly there are so many better options for this calorie count. 12g of protein is decent but nothing a good protein shake can’t provide for 100 calories or less and a good quality granola with fresh fruits would likely fall beneath this calorie count and be more filling! At over £1.50 a cookie I can’t say I’d buy them personally. Not as seemingly good for you as they initially appear.

Very crumbly and large size too
I like these, they are large cookies, not too soft nor hard, a very subtle taste of Choc chip too and great for a snack, in the afternoon with tea.Too big to singly dunk though,, snap in half then do it that way.the box arrived without plain packaging this time, with the 12 cookies in it and intact, not too bothered myself but if getting as a gift, remember to add the amazon packaging tick box to ensure it does.

High Calorie, Sugar and Fat
As others before me, I purchased this for a protein snack option but for that it’s not particularly a healthy option especially if you watch your calorie intake as well. Attached photo for your information. Sadly, I didn’t have that before the purchase. :(
