HP Z230 WorkStation Mini Tower Business Office PC i7 4770 32GB Ram 500GB SSD + 4TB HDD Dual Display CAD 2D 3D Design Windows 10 Pro (Renewed)

I bought this machine as an upgrade to my previous model, an intel i3 with 16 gig ram. A 12 year old machine, and has served me well, including being the home server for all my media needs. The processor had started to let me down, so decided to get a new machine. New was out of my price range, as i use 3 laptops for my work, which need upgrading regularly, so this was the next best option. The spec offered was immense for the price. I had previously backed up my files, and i had it all transferred within a couple of hours. All required apps downloaded, and I have the machine exactly as i want it. The only gripe i have with it, is that there is only one monitor port, and i'm having to use a usb adapter for my second monitor, which does have a little lag on it, but still serviceable. All in all a great machine for a great price. Lets hope this one keeps going as long as the last.On a final note, the delivery was questionable. The external box had water damage, so i'm presuming has spent some time outside, but the unit itself was well protected. The delivery driver themselves was rude, but that is not the sellers fault, thats just DHL for you!On the whole, a great experience and a happy customer. thank you.

Didn`t work

The reason I did not give 5* was the refurbished product was faulty when I first tried it out, but thanks to the diligence of the seller's aftersales service they resolved the problem very quickly, so I now have a very good piece of kit for a very reasonable cost.

Strange to give such a review! Eventually I did not buy this PC, however I am leaving this review because of the responses I received from the seller. I was buying this PC to replace a PC of the same model I already owned and had failed, but I decided not to go ahead with the purchase after receiving the goods. What was so special about the transaction was the responses from the team selling the PC. They were courteous, helpful and very accommodating. They offered to arrange collection at their own expense and to refund any monies I had paid. However I had already contacted Amazon who had arranged collection and repayment, so I did not need to accept the sellers kind offers. The PC I was replacing was originally purchased from this seller and has served me well, I use the PC to produce technical drawings using top quality design package (Bentley Microstation Powerdraft V8). I have since had my own PC repaired. This seller deserves top marks for support, fast and courteous responses, and understanding, thank you guys.
