Works just like the OEM sensor on my 2017 GMC Terrain
Received sensor June 2023. Installed 2 days after receiving & was working as expected after activating with Sensor program tool purchased from Amazon, when I replaced a different tire sensor ~ 8 months ago, purchased from this same seller (seismic) It’s still working well, but this sensor lost communication after 1 day & remained inoperable for ~ 3 days with no indication (lost communication). Seismic upon being contacted immediately refunded the purchase price. The real problem is all the work required to break down the tire, cut out original sensor & install the new one. The failure is a classic bad battery, as this is the way sensors normally fail. (show pressure & then get a tps failure alarm and failed sensor shows - - for pressure, with other 3 sensors indicating tire pressure. You can reprogram, but a day or 2 later it will go out again. This probably would be prevented if the seller verified a good battery prior to shipping to buyer. (problem was time used Removing tire, breaking tire bead & installing new sensor). The OEM sensor had been working for 6 years as vehicle is 6 years old. Bottom line is replacement sensor will be purchased from a different vendor.

What's the catch?
When I saw these on Amazon, I thought there must be a catch. Were they surplused by AC/Delco for being past their battery life? Did they fall off the truck? Are they counterfeit? How can they sell for $12 (now $10.50), when the dealer wanted $80 for a single wheel. So I ordered two, just in case one was defective. When I checked one of them with my relearn tool, it paired immediately with the vehicle. I checked the date code printed on the sensor, which indicated that it was manufactured in April 2021.I made an appointment with Discount Tire to install the sensor, which they did for free (presumably as an incentive for me to buy tires from them). The sensor is working perfectly. Some of the negative comments note that the sensor paired with the vehicle but lost pairing after a few days. If that happens to me, I'll update this review, but for now these seem to be an incredible bargain.

Saved me $150!
The sensors worked great. They were very easy to install and once they were reprogrammed have worked perfectly. Note that he will need a training tool in addition to the sensors when you install them to reprogram them to the car's computer. The tpms programming tool is available on Amazon for about $10 and worked perfectly as well. A local tire shop wanted $253 to replace these sensors. By buying these on Amazon and doing it myself the total cost including having the tire shop remove the tires and install the sensors for me along with the cost of the reprogramming tool came out to a little under $100. By buying these and doing it myself I saved over $150! Very happy with the purchase and the product.

LAST LESS THAN A YEAR
Appear absolutly great when you get them. Installed at tire shop. Programmed myself. AllGreat BUT WAIT. less than a year later they are dead on and off. I’ve went thru 5 in a year. Of course no warranty or anything. Outdated garbage is a good guess

Great deal on OEM part
These are genuine AC Delco replacement tire pressure monitor valves in the original packaging. I have no idea how they can sell them at such a low price, but everywhere else the price ranges from $40-77 each. My mechanic installed them and simply used the "learn" feature on my 2010 Camaro. However, within 15 miles of driving, the monitors lost their memory. (Thus, 4 stars instead of 5.) Rather than going back to the shop, I drove home and successfully went through the "learn" feature myself. It has been almost two weeks and I have not had any other issues with the TPMS. Another thing you should know, the seller includes an instruction card with details on how to program the monitors. **Also included is a way to email or text them if you have problems, which I think is a great feature.**

if you have a gm car use these ac delco tpms only.
I had new tires installed 2 years ago and bought an off brand tpms and had them installed at the same time. the battery's lasted lest then 2 years. I just bought these ac delco tpms and had them installed the mechanic said these are oem and will last over 5 years. I have only had them 2 weeks but they work great.
