Easy installation-great value

The media could not be loaded. Arrived quickly, installed quickly, runs quickly.It was a perfect fit and recognized CDs immediately. Replaced opti-drive on refurbished computer I ordered in which the drive occasionally worked, after constantly messing with it...even then would not always recognize disc or would stop. This replacement went in smoothly and easily. Works quick & fast. Very pleased with it.

Easy to install in a pc

The build quality was indistinguishable from the original and powered up with full functionality. I believe this unit is fit for duty and will meet its published speed and noise level.

I didn't realize I was getting a product from 2017 when I ordered this. However, it does seem to be working for now and is a good price.

The CD DVD drive in my DELL OPTIPLEX 7010 failed and this replacement looks as good quality as the one the came out. With the included SATA cable this kit is a great deal! My only complaint is that the cable received was not the one pictured- it was black and about 3 times as long- had to snake it around inside of the case- see picture of installed cable. It works and saved me needing to buy a new computer. Installation was not difficult- unplugged the power source to be safe while working. A link to installation instructions either specific or generic would be helpful for non-technical folks. The packaging was very good, bubble wrapped in a box for protection inside of its shipping container. 5 stars great value CD DVD repair kit, would recommend to anyone.

Bought to install in my dell optiplex, it is probably good quality, it won’t fit in my desktop, I searched on Amazon for my computer , this came up, won’t fit mine
