Rolls like buttah
These are the perfect pulleys for my clothesline. It was easy to thread the rope through and the pulleys roll smoothly.

Two years in and still working fine
I feel like I am reasonably hard on these. I put sheets, bedding, misc. dog laundry, and towels (so many towels) out on the line to dry which ends up being a couple loads a week usually and they’ve held up just fine to the general weather of North Carolina and my regular use. I’ve got a cloth rope for line and they’re always the quietest part of my ensemble

This is a very good product. They will hold up in extreme temperatures and last a long time. Easy to install and I loved the tensioner supplied

Fantastic!
My gosh, these pulley are amazingly good! Light weight, but seem to be very well made. And they roll so easily--as another reviewer said, they almost free-wheel.We have a long clothesline that goes from our porch to a pine tree about 80' away. Had to replace things recently because lightning took out the tree where the original line was anchored. Tried several pulleys, including some rather expensive ones from the local hardware store that claimed to be "lifetime lubricated." Can't believe how hard it was to pull the line back/forth with those pulleys. So, I found these on Amazon and bought a pair. Again, can't believe how well they work! Be sure to buy the version with ball bearings. More expensive, but probably well worth the extra dollar or two.Someone asked if the pulleys had a brake. Not exactly, but there are holes that line up so you can insert a clothespin (or a dowel, etc.) into the holes. Holds everything in place. A nice feature for us because one end of the line is much higher than the other. Heavy things--like wet sheets--move unless we use those stoppers. A very nice feature! Finally, as much as we love these pulleys, the purchase and shipping was weird. We bought two pulleys--one order for two pulleys. However, the distributor shipped them in two separate parcels. One was UPS, the other was USPS. Both left the distributor on the same day and both were delivered to us on the same day. But, why separate shipments? And why different carriers? Go figure.

Heavy duty pulley
This replaces a pulley that I have to change every couple of years. This pully is heavy duty and should last a long time. No rust.

Great pulley
So far the pulley works great. Easy to pull/push out the clothesline no matter how many clothes are on it. I do wish there was some sort of "stopper" to help prevent the line from moving during the wind but I will figure somethign out.

Time will tell.
I'm skeptical. So far it's working fine. However, it feels very brittle and cheap. There were no definitive answers as to what it was made of here, so I emailed the company and confirmed it is made of aluminum. They could not, however, provide a load rating. My line is about 100ft long. So far it's only seen a full load of small children's clothes, but it's working fine.Feels like an aluminum powder that was pressed into form, not pour cast. Now the pin in the hub, might not be aluminum. If that rusts, I'll be quite disappointed.Right now, I'm only 3 stars on this pulley. If it stands up over time, I may increase. But it's poor quality feel leaves me very suspicious if this will last.
