40 hit and my hair have decided we're going to be bougie. That we're gonna go from thick, luscious locks to dry, frizzies that can't hold a curl to save my life (I have naturally curly hair) So I opted to go with this. I bleach my hair often. Like...the kind of bleach that requires the FULL 8 weeks in between. This hairspray has allowed me to use hot tools (who doesn't love a good forced curl? haha) and NOT fry my damaged hair off. The smell is good (imagine a wealthy old white lady scent and that's it) I will definitely be repurchasing.

My overall rating of the Kristin Ess Workable Hairspray is only one star so let me explain. This hairspray works fantastic with my hair! I have very fine, straight, limp hair and most products are too heavy or make my hair greasy. After using my curling iron, I do need a good hold to keep my curls in place and Kristin Ess Workable Hairspray works fantastic for me! It holds the curls all day without the stiffness of most hairsprays and the fragrance is pleasant and light. Finally! A product that actually works and I would normally give it ten stars! HOWEVER, their spray nozzle is completely defective, flawed, imperfect, and inoperable! There is a locking mechanism on the spray nozzle so you have to twist it around and around until it will actually spray (similar to the pump on soap or hand cream that needs to be turned and turned until the pump will actually work). Then after a few sprays, it stops spraying and appears to be clogged. So I ran it under hot water and put a pin in the hole to clear it out. I got a few more sprays and then it clogged again. Thinking I purchased a defective can of spray, I bought a second one. It did the exact same thing so I emailed the company. They were very pleasant and said they would replace the defective can of spray and asked if I would send back the one I purchased at their expense. The replacement can of spray arrived in a few days but was also as defective as the first two. So very disappointing! Why would a company develop such a fantastic product but fall short on the spray mechanism? No matter what site you go on, there are complaints about the defective spray nozzle in almost all the reviews. Why don't they fix this???? I do not recommend this hairspray but only because of the faulty spray nozzle and will never buy another can.

This is the only hairspray I’ll use! It keeps my hair looking amazing throughout the Texas humidity, but isn’t stiff or crunchy.

I struggle with doing my hair and my coworkers and others around me are so good at it. The first day I used it (following instructions on the bottle) I got good feedback!
