I love this security screen door. Looks beautiful and can’t see inside. Very secure also.This was my second purchase and unfortunately doesn’t fit my other door. I wish it was made in other sizes, it sure beats a screen door.

I moved into the city and wanted a security door with a little style. In my research I came across this vintage and stylist door. The price was a little more than I'd planned to pay, but it redeemed itself when the door was delivered on-time, the parts and instructions were very easy to follow - one bummer was that I had to buy additional hardware (knobs and key) to finish the installation as those items were not sold with the door. Nonetheless, I was able to match the hardware perfectly. Also the door is a moderate weight - not too (light or heavy), just right and sturdy. Overall, it was easy to install and well worth the cost ! I would highly recommend this door to anyone looking for a extra curb appeal.

I was looking for a new front door for our cabin, the door is kinda ugly. I stumbled across this screen door which took care of two problems - covered the ugly front door and now I have a beautiful screen door which we can use to let the fresh air in when the weather permits. It's a heavy-duty door - it took two delivery folks to bring it into the house. The color of the wood was true to the pics on Amazon and the matte finish on the metal frame and door hardware/fixtures was exactly what I was looking for. The installation was not too difficult but the door sits about 2" to 3" away from the original frame so there is a gap at the bottom of the door; we'll fix that later. However, it's not a big deal because the door does fit flush and even all the way around. I love it and it is absolutely gorgeous - plus the rustic look is perfect for this house. Can't beat the price either, lot less expensive than buying a new door! One correction to my post - the door hardware is sold separately, via Amazon; it's not included with the door, however, the finish/color is a perfect match to the metal frame of the screen door.

I really liked the look of this door, so I ordered two for our house. Unfortunately, I had to return both doors because each one was defective. One had a very visible flaw in the metal mesh, right in the middle of the door, that made it pretty ugly--so much so that I'm surprised it made it out of the factory (quality control should have caught such a visible problem). The other must have been bent or banged in storage or in transit because the top of the door pushed into the top bar in such a way that the door would warp when closed, putting pressure on the hinge bar and causing the top of the door to stick out at handle side. I will say that Amazon was very good about the returns.

When I purchased this some time ago, they did not publish the frame dimension or that it only works with 2 x 6 construction. I ordered a 36" based on the size of the existing door frame. Sadly, at least for my application, making it fit required removing existing trim and I'll now need to remove siding to trim it out. AND, no mention that using it in an older, 2 x 4 framed home leaves the security door handle hitting the front door dead bolt lock, not even close to closing. By replacing my front door deadbolt with a Kwikset low profile deadbolt it works.That said, the build quality is top notch, and it isnt fugly like most security screen doors. 4 stars due to a lackluster description, which they have since partially fixed.

This is a Very Good looking screen door. My cats cannot scratch this door because of the metal screen. I have had many compliments from neighbors. Make sure you get the tools they recommend.I would buy this again and again!
