Spacious and sturdy — Perfect for my birds!
I purchased this large bird cage, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s spacious, giving my birds plenty of room to move around and fly. The bars are sturdy and secure, and the cage is easy to clean, which makes maintenance a breeze. The design is well-thought-out, with enough space for perches, food, and toys. My birds love it, and it looks great in my home.I highly recommend this cage to anyone looking for a roomy, durable, and easy-to-maintain home for their feathered friends!

This is a lovely cage... but I had to tweek it.
I am only one person, not two, and the instructions recommended two people. I had just finished putting this together this afternoon. I took my time, and I wanted to make sure the angles were straight each time I added. In the instructions, after stage 7 of putting in the tray, I needed to add a back board, because the tray could slide out the back.. so you'll see what I did with a piece of scrap wood I had... I cut it to size in length and put it toward the top part of the tray in back, not to only keep the tray from sliding out back; but to also keep whatever may be on top of the tray inside from leaking out the back. When the back piece of wood was screwed in, with extra other screws I had, while the box part was upside down, I then put the wheels on then, instead of last, like the instructions wanted... with the rook on and the peak, there is no way to put this upside down to easily screw the wheels on... before turning the box right side up, I made sure the back wheels were locked. On the front, I did put a small little shim to the right bottom of the large front door, as it hung crooked, and I didn't want that to wear down. Right angles make things last longer... I did have to move a dowel hole over on the bottom in putting together the square which came to be where the tray went later. That was an easy move, and I took the one staple I pulled out to move the dowel hole, and stapled it into a similar place that kept the cage wire nailed down. The wood is rather tender, so I did use some longer wood screws I had for parts of the nesting house. ..The instructions mention that the screws can become loose, so that was why the decision on a few longer wood screws for the nesting house. The shorter screws were okay, due to gravity, as in attaching the wheels. The dowels won't fit, and I saw that the instructions showed that there were ends attached to the perches/dowels, but in this box, the dowels did not come equipped with any ends to attach anywhere inside the cage.. as pictured. I have been looking for the plastic ends that can go on the ends of dowels to make them attach to wire, etc; but I am having problems finding the plastic ends that are 3/4" diameter. I find them only going to .5" diameter. Another thing to be aware of.. if you are not handy. I am 5'8" now, and the cage is actually a little taller than me.. It was fun to put together, taking my time, by myself... and having a love for physics, I did put it together in a different order than the instructions asked. I missed having a dove, but someone was finding homes for pigeons... I don't have a pigeon coop that is safe for fancy pigeons out in my yard yet, so this little dandy of a house, will house my 6 new fancy pigeons until I can get their coop built out back.. I do have predator birds in my yard at times, so I make sure all, including pigeons and chickens are safe... I ahd a beautiful macaw that was killed by my downstairs neighbor, as she sprayed febreeze all over the place downstairs, it came up through the vents and killed my macaw.. that was horrific. ..so I was missing him while I was putting this together, because I know my macaw would have loved this! Eventually, I will get more indoor birds or bird, but in the meantime, the pigeons will get to be indoors until their new home gets built.. they are young, and I am sure they will love to be indoors for the time being... I put this together in the kitchen, and I did buy an old house, and I made sure I measured the widths of doorways, etc, knowing where I can move and go with this, inside the house.. the wood seems like the kind that would inflate with moisture/dampness... so I will definitely do as the amazon picture shows... when the good weather comes, I can roll this out onto either porch, so that fresh air and other birds can cheer the resident(s) of this lovely bird house... even though I had to make modifications, I would definitely buy this again... I do have a cat that does not use a litter box; so I am definitely looking at the cat house from this same brand, where this old cat can live in with what's left of her life, without soiling everything, or going to the pound to get put down. I so do hope, that all of this helps in decision making. I do love this aviary cage, I do need to say.

Great cage
For $160 this is well worth the money. I put my 6 parakeets inside this cage thinking they may not have enough room. Well I think I may go get a few more birds because this cage is huge. Pros.Cleaning traySizeTwo huge swingopen doors.ConsWood quality could be a little better. I had to reposition two screws while building because the wood cracked.

Broken on arrival
Item was well packaged but upon opening the plastic tray was broken. It looks like a manufacturing malfunction more than damaged from transport. Tried to see if the manufacturer could send me a new tray because that is the only thing wrong with the order. However, I quickly found out my only option was to return it through Amazon. This would be ridiculously difficult for me to do, due to product weight and repacking did not see feasible. So I am building it anyway, got some black duct tape to repair the tray until ì can figure out a replacement. So far the build has gone great. Quality of the wood and product is as expected considering the low cost of the kit. Wood is lightweight. The wood is not completely sealed by the paint it came with so will be repaint to help withstand the elements. The roof is great, but will not last, I need to figure out how to protect the exposed wood on top to make the product last longer. Also, working on reinforcing the structure to combat rats for when they find their way back into the neighborhood. You can only remove them for a short amount of time before others find their empty niche, move in, and start going after my birds. Wood is reinforced with dowels with is really nice, we did have to file down two inside corners at the bottom of the cage because they did not fit properly. It was an easy fix with the right tools. Overall satisfied with the product but poor review due to the lack of options for a replacement tray, the only plastic part of this product.
