This is used in a church and is exactly what we needed.

I bought model 5912 and it hasn’t worked since the moment I received it. The worst part is their customer service is awful! I’ve left countless messages and no one returns my calls. Definitely don’t make the same mistake I did and buy a safe from a company that values their customers and stands behind their products.

The design of the safe is fine - good for staff to deposit cash envelopes at the end of the day. The envelop size is pretty much limited to standard business size envelopes; larger, 8.5 X 11 sized envelopes will not fit into this safe. This particular safe, however, seems to have a very temperamental mechanical lock. Our office gave up electronic locks some time ago when one failed and it was a pain to get into since there were no longer replacement parts to repair it. The lock on this safe seems to work maybe every third try. I'm hoping this might improve with continued use. We'll see. We previously bought the Stack-On E-029-SB-C Elite Executive Fire Safe with Combination Lock (not a depository safe) from Amazon and the mechanical lock on that safe is smooth and works easily every time.

Lock is awful, waste of money. It sits empty in the corner till we throw it away.
