Hubby loves these. Really expensive but so worth it to see him smile! They are super easy to prepare, the crust rises really well and gets super crispy. It is a real pastry crust, not like the frozen food stuff they sell here in America that gets kind of gooey when cooked. Husband loves the aroma as it is cooking, and the tin we cook it in easily fits into a regular sized soup bowl, so you don't burn your hands. If you love someone that loves this kind of food... Go for it! (Amazon has Haggis too...)

Arrived on time. No damage during transit, well packaged. Product was what I expected. Slightly expensive but worth the money.

In the UK, these are generally sold for around £3.25 each. They are quite yummy and worth getting, especially if you remember them as a child. The only negative is that they are rather heavy on the gravy and so somewhat lacking in big chunks of steak and kidney, but £3.25 is about right for what you are getting.£3.25 in USD is currently (as of May 2023) $4.01, so a six-pack should be about 24 bucks and change. Let's pay a bit extra as we are in the US, so double it and round up. That would mean a reasonable $50. Once they start selling six-packs at $50 these pies would sell much better, but $88 is just silly. They are great for a treat, but until the prices are more realistic I would hold off from a regular purchase.(this has been updated from a previous review due to increases in inflation)

Overpriced as hell but equally tasty. Priced purely to GOUGE buyers in the north american market.Will keep looking for better pricing...

These pies were awful. Inside was mostly gravy with a few very small pieces of meat. It was hard getting the lid off the can.

It is great for a quick meal and the crust is nice and flakey. Wish I could get the rest of my order as I only got 3 of the six that I paid for. Hope I get the rest soon as I don't know if I should order more or not and I really like them.

They are exactly as described. Heat the oven to 360F and remove the lid (this can be tricky with some can openers). Place the baking tray in the oven, wait 30 minutes, and then enjoy!BUT you have to like kidneys!p.s. These are not vegan-friendly.
