I just started a small garden with some succulents and a tomato plant and am just learning. This kit of assorted tools and snips is perfect and a great value for the price. For nearly the same price as one of the fancier trimmers, you can get 5 different ones in this kit. Perfect! You can cut / trim small leaves to bigger stalks and everything is sharp enough to do the job. Even the added pair of gloves is a nice touch. They also include a little nylon bag to store the tools in, but I just use a plastic caddy to carry my tools and watering bottles. It's too much trouble to dig through a little bag for the right tool when I can just see them in the caddy and grab the one I need. Great set!

These are a nice little set of gardening tools. They are sharp and seem to work well for what little gardening needs I have. The handles could be a little more comfortable, but given the price and quality they are a nice set.

This set is a great value for what you get. All of the clippers are well made and sturdy. These are great for home gardeners and would make a great gift!

Purchased for a gift. My mother has used several time and loves them. Said they are still sharp and easy to grip.

I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled as this item was better than expected. As usual, I read the reviews before purchasing and saw how people were talking about how nice the gloves were. I wasn't necessarily looking for gloves but thought it was a nice addition to the product. The gloves were right on top and I tried them on and they fit perfectly.! Someone did say they fit bigger than normal and I am a woman with larger hands than most and have problems finding gloves to fit. Needless to say, I haven't used the clippers yet but the gloves we're worth the price of admission. I am ordering a set for my daughter for her birthday as she had just found that she loves working with plants! Thank you for this nice product!

These cutters are sharp out of the box for pruning and cutting , but seem to gum up and stick a bit. After you use them. later they’re sticky, but just open and close them a few times they free up, should have had a better steel in them. Looks are nice color coded to know which one to pick up. Springs work well, the locks do there job without getting in the way in use. 5 cutters in the kit give good versatility to this set for different cutting jobs. The added gloves are ok and a nice bonus you don't have to go looking for a pair.
