My daughter had been asking me to take her fishing. I personally have not gone fishing since I was 15. I never had gear of my own so I decided to look for a guide to help me put together a tackle box. The first thing on the list was sinkers. I read reviews and realized how many people stated that sometime the sharp edges on the split shot would cut the line. Then I found these. The rubber really helps when you apply the split shot to the line. It also keeps the split shot in place. They were easy to take off and put on. I was able to reuse all the split shot I used that day. This is a great addition to any tackle box and easy for a beginner.

Not as shown in picture, at all. These are not only not multicolored, they are useless because they do not have the little "handles" that most split shots have for opening them up to remove. Absolute garbage product and not what I expected at all.

With stores not keeping sinkers in stock locally to purchase. Tried these to fish with and know that the colors on sinkers are rubber tubing will protect line plus keep on the line. Very cost effective compared to name brand sinkers that are only lead.

I’ve found that these rubber coated split shot work perfect for fly fishing, when you need that little bit of extra weight but don’t want them sliding when casting. Casting and false casting with split shot can be a challenge as they slide and cause your clauser minnow to change depth. The rubber on these is a great help in keeping where you put it without damaging your line or worse yet-having to tie a knot in your line. They also removed the tabs that would normally re-open the shot so it doesn’t get caught up in the salad on the bottom. Removed a star as they only came in 2 colors-red and green vs the several colors they advertise.

I got the right amount of sinkers but they were loose in the shipping bag due to the interior packaging breaking. They were also all green and not multicolored. Not worth sending back but a little disappointing. If your ordering them to have different colors float under a bobber as an attractant, I would pick another brand. If your ordering them for bottom fishing then these will work ok.

I am just getting into fishing and this product is easy to use. I've taken it out a few times now and I have had no issues.

The media could not be loaded. All one color, all loose and mixed together in a little ziplock bag.They're all a ugly shad of green that is already coming off. I will color them and use them, but Im not happy.
