We've had indoor restaurant dining prohibited for a while, and it will be a while before we get vaccinated. Therefore we get takeout. I've attached 2 hooks to the air vents in front of the passenger side. I've then hung by the strap (twisted) onto the 2 hooks. It hangs securely there. We finally got to try it out last night. It worked great. The drink holder held a can up despite sharp cornering. This tray will come in very handy for the remainder of the summer and fall and will be great for road trips we make.

Had one extra person on a cross country road trip, so no access to rear centre console cup holders. Bought these to make up for that and they held up much better than expected.I doubted the size of the cup holder parts, they look too small in the pictures. But they were large enough to accommodate large fast food cups no problem!And If they survived the trip without being broken by the kids in the back, then they're tougher than most reviewers are saying they are.. they probably just have kids that are careless and hard on their stuff.

My son likes how he can leave his food on it and not worry about it spilling all over the seat & he doesn't get car sick anymore as he doesn't have to look down to eat. It also fits a medium size coffee from McDonald's.

I like how well made it is. Sturdy and excellent design. Nice low profile when folded up. I did want to update my previous review with one thing. I want to transfer this tray between my husband's car and mine so I wish the strap had the quick release clasp. It's the only thing I would change.

Extremely flimsy, definitely not for kids. Maybe for very, very careful adult.
