Great for hydration when hiking

I bought this with.m the matching vest. Works great.
Works great. First few runs the water had a funny after taste. After washing and running the water through a few times the water was normal. Works great doesn't leak.

Great
I use this for marathon training. The product is very durable and holds up well over long runs. I often times freeze it before my run so my water is cold. Have had no issues with leakage or anything like that. Only complaint is having to clean it, but I don’t know if that gets better with any other similar product. The product is a great value for the money and I would recommend getting this as a combo with the backpack.

Leaks everywhere
Water doesn’t just leak, it runs out the end of the tube like a kitchen faucet turned on. It leaks all down your shirt, shorts, legs and shoes. All over your car. It’s very easy to not push it shut all the way when you’re in the middle of a run. Not sure why the bite valve doesn’t keep water from gushing out everywhere. Besides that water sloshes around while running and it’s incredibly annoying and distracting. I do like the how the top end opens and closes compared to a screw on lid. Sadly, I can’t recommend this product

Even better than expected...
I wanted to try a small hydration bladder out, for those times when a 2l or 3l is a little much. I also wanted to check out one with a zip-type opening vs the usual round screw cap. This was the least expensive one with those features...and so far I'm pretty impressed.First surprise, the bite valve is very good. At first, I thought it was terrible, but then I realized it had an on/off valve, maybe I wasn't expecting that for the price. Once I figured that out, I was impressed...it has a much better valve than the old school bladders with the x-shaped opening. The fill opening is good, a little bit of an adjustment figuring out how to fill it without dumping it. Should make drying and cleaning easier, but I've been using it so frequently I havent had occasion to prep it for storage. No leaks so far. Even the bite valve is not prone to dripping on you.Size wise, I was able to wedge it In my well-worn Red Rock Outdoor slingpack (Rover model, I think?) I use it as a woods tool carrier, I have the Condor 1l bottle carrier on it but with this bladder I can double my H20 capacity, with the advantage of being able to access some hydration on the move. Even used it as an impromptu watering can, haha. Also fits in an OT hyd pack when I want to carry more gear than water. Haven't made any big hikes with this, but I'm pretty impressed from just bashing about in the yard...if I needed another bladder, I'd strongly consider getting another one from this outfit.

Good not great
This water pack is good and does the job. I appreciate the length of the hose. The nozzle drips when left open which somewhat defeats the bit to drink design. The container leaves my water tasting a bit like plastic even after being washed a few times

Disappointed. Started great but now leaks after about 6 uses
I purchased this mid-June and use it for my weekly long runs (~14 miles). It worked great for several weeks (I really like the mouth bite valve-can drink easily without aspirating while maintaining a nice pace). However, after using it about 6 times (end of July), it started leaking from the bottom where the tube attaches to the bladder and my shorts became drenched. Disappointed. Should have lasted much longer than it did. I will try to find a more durable replacement that has a year warranty.

Unable To Use
I received a defective item. Couldn’t suction water through the value and just pointless. Had to return and was not interested in purchasing another item
