I love these Germanicure crystal glass nail files! I had another brand but I broke it and wanted to replace it. After some research I decided on the Germanicure brand. Not only are the materials and craftsmanship superior to others, but the company is truly eco conscious. That to me, is worth paying a little more. About the file itself... it comes in a soft and sturdy suede sleeve which is very nice (if you worry about them using leather, go to their website and see their efforts on trying to move away from it) The file is so smooth across your nail and doesn’t leave any rough edges. I didn’t even have to cut my toenails before filing! It took them down to smooth perfection in far less time than cutting and filing with an ordinary file. Truly a quality product that is inexpensive, saves you time, and will last forever if you take care of it. My go to gift this year for my sisters, nieces and friends. Bonus, they have cute sayings etched into the handle.

This is the best nail file I’ve ever used in my 60+ years. Emery boards are basically sand paper and destructive to my thin easily breakable fingernails. The inexpensive glass nail files don’t even last as long as emery boards. I took a chance on this brand because it has great reviews; not too expensive; supposed to last a lifetime (we’ll see) and NOT made in China. The company describes itself and what I read I liked. The file makes the edge of the nail very smooth without the residue of other types of files (hard to describe). You can tell this is a high quality product. After using the file I’ve found it to be above & beyond my expectations and I’ve gifted it to 5 relatives/friends so far. It’s that spectacular!

Nails are healthier and grow longer when I use this file.

I already own one of these files and I love it so much that I purchased these as gifts for my girls. It’s gentle on my nails and very long lasting.

Considering how often I file/shape my nails I don’t know how I didn’t get these sooner! 1000% better then your typical emery boards. I like that it come with a case and the 3 pack lets me have one on hand at home, work, and in my travel bag. Major upgrade!

These files are super. They are top quality. I like the weight of file for handling. My finger nails are now filed so nice with great finish. The "grit" of file does a great job & is quicker to use than cheap files. So worth the additional money. To say the least, I am very pleased with this purchase . Thank you for such a high quality product.

I’ve had several brands of glass nail files over the years. The first one I bought (brand was Brandon) was perfect. Of course it eventually broke and I’ve tried a few others to replace. Mostly poor quality that don’t remove any material and/or leave a rough edge on the nail. These seem very nice in that they leave a very smooth finish. However, as someone else mentioned, they do remove a lot of material so don’t overdo it.

The grit on both sides of the file are the same, and too course. I was given a gift of another brand, I'm not sure what, and it is not so rough as these which is much better for me. I was hoping for that when I ordered these, and so was dissappointed when I tried to use them. My wife and daughter like them, though, hence the four stars rather than three.
