I've been using this for a few months now and I absolutely love it.BACK STORY:I have a frenchie/pug mix that I was told would get to be 20-25lbs. I bought him a cute and very expensive doggy car seat for that size dog. A year later, my little puppy weighed 42lbs and while he immediately got in his car seat, he looked soooo cramped in it. I couldn't find a car seat that seemed to be big enough for my boy, so we got rid of the car seat and just put him on the seat of the car with a crate mat to lay on. BUT...he looked terrified and shook like a leaf the whole time he was in the car. He seemed to be hunkered down as if he was afraid he would fall off the seat, which was a concern of mine too. After a day or two of that, I ordered this cover. It was amazing what a difference it made. I still put the crate mat down, but his reaction is totally different. From the first time I put him in the car with this, there was no shaking. He just sprawled out on the seat and relaxed. I think we both felt better knowing he wouldn't fall off the seat.PROS:- I drive a Jeep Liberty. It is a perfect fit.- The straps are adjustable, so it could also easily fit a larger/smaller car.- I love that it has flaps that cover the edges of the seats.- It is water proof, so it keeps my seats safe from any liquids or mud.- The two pockets behind the driver's seat are very roomy. They are great for holding supplies such as leashes, collapsible water bowls or water bottles, treats, etc.- The cover can be easily wiped off, if it gets muddy or dirty.- The quick snap clips that are behind each seat rest can be easily clipped/unclipped, when you want to make room for a two legged passenger.- The front part of the cover zips/unzips. When it is all the way zipped up, it makes a nice barrier to keeps pups in the back. However, it can be zipped down to give your pup a better view, or if i you want to make room for a human to sit on just one side.- I've been using it for months and it holds up great.CONS:- None that I've found so far. I love it.

My poor little dog prefers the back seat but he just get's bounced all over and tossed between the seats. I thought this would give him a more secure space. Though he doesn't shed, after the park he get's pretty muddy feet so this should help keep things clean- and the cover is washable. My leather seats will appreciate this purchase. One thing I thought was missing was protection for my doors. I found another product package for that, and when it arrives I will add an additional review. I did not want the version of this seat cover that actually makes a kind of enclosed box, since that means I have to take time to unzip the sides every time he gets in or out. I prefer that the door protectors can stay in place when doors are open or closed. What I mean is this seat cover is fixed in place- like a sling between front and back seat, but alone it does not protect the doors from scratching by an excited Terrier! It is not padded, this is a nice duck fabric, and the pockets are handy for basics like a watering bottle, leash, ball, and poop bags. I have a fold-up food container and wet wipes that fit in there also. It's a nice inexpensive interior saver.Update: This is nice! I was hoping for a way to save my backseat leather, since I have an active Silky Terrier, and this is going to do just what I had hoped. I fits fine in the back of my Dodge Dart 4dr. I am short so the seats are forward more than for most folks, which is OK, this sling appearance will not let my little furpal fall off onto the floor boards when he loses his footing. I have a booster seat, but good luck keeping him in that! If I did want to use it the seat cover has slots for the belts. I am ordering a heavy seatbelt leash (short) for Harley's harness, this whole set up is pretty ideal! I haven't tried it in the back for the F-150 truck yet, but I think it may work there too. I got it for my car, so if it doesn't I am not really concerned, but I will update this review again to let people know.

I bought this so that I wouldn't have to worry about my two dogs (An American Pitbull Mix and a German Shepherd mixed with Husky) shedding and getting slobber EVERYWHERE in my car and just all around making my car dirty. Well, I am VERY satisfied with my purchase because ALL of the fur and slobber stayed inside the hammock! It is a little smaller than I expected, but I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty so that wasn't really a problem, as the back of my car doesn't have much space anyway. This seat cover makes the trip to go places much more safe because it keeps them from falling the floor in case I need to make a quick turn or push heavily on the breaks. My car is a little small so it doesn't provide much space for my two dogs (because they are rather large) but as long as it keeps my car from getting dirty, I am happy. Not much to complain about. Also, with my Amazon Prime membership, my order came in one day later! Very fast shipping (I live in Florida). The product came in great shape and the packing was perfect and easy to get out of the case. It took about only two minutes or so to set up the hammock in my car, and then we were off! The only issue I had with the hammock is that my dogs insisted on jumping in the car underneath the hammock, instead of on top.. Which isn't the products fault. Overall, I would definitely recommend to this item to ANYONE who plans on taking their pets on car rides.. Makes it SO much easier! The front zipper part did not do me much justice, as my dogs are so heavy their weight unzipped it when they stepped up to the front. Also, the pockets aren't as big as they appear in the picture, but they help a lot anyways! I LOVE this hammock. My dogs are really heavy and one of them has long nails and the hammock did not tear at all. Great quality and the perfect price!!! I attached photos to my review so everyone can see how much fur and slobber from ONE car ride was saved from being ALL over my car!
