Highly Recommend These Gel Slip Ons! Your Toe will Thank You.
I have a growing-by-the-walk blister on my toe. It’s painful, as u might imagine; not excruciatingly painful, but certainly uncomfortable.I have a pair of super comfortable high-end running sneakers, so footwear is not the issue. But I’m walking for a minimum of an hour five times a week.I asked ChatGPT what do about a painful blister on my big toe, and it recommended a gel slip on for my toe.I was not aware of this product. I was using Band-Aid blister band aids, with minimum success. But this gel blister slip on over my big toe is unbelievably great. The gel slip is stretchy material, so it fits on to my big top and is securely in place. Like as long as I have socks on, it doesn’t move. But putting socks on you have to be slow and careful so as to not catch the gel slip on.Today, I walked for an hour and fifteen minutes and I was wearing my gel slip on. I had absolutely no pain whatsoever. It was wonderful.I honestly cannot recommend these gel toe slip ons enough. My only concern is if perhaps a woman with smaller toes might not have such a nice snug fit. I’m not sure.I have a normal size toe, I think? But I’m 6’2” and have size 11.5 sneaker size, so that might be a factor worth considering.Otherwise, the protective padding these gel slip ons provide, it’s a game changer (argh, so overused phrase!), but true in my case.I would say woman or man, try these out. If u have a good fit on whatever toe is the problem, you will be golden and so much happier.I hope this is a helpful review. Good luck!Update: I want to add that I found my big toe with the gel slip on it needs its exposure to air. At the very least, make sure you take off the slip on at night while you sleep.

I have diabetes
Big fan. They're large, and actually wrap my big toe. I have a scar from an ulcer on one foot, and an active ulcer on another. Talk to your podiatrist as I did, but along with moleskin on the ball of my foot, and this over a bandage with medical grade manuka honey- I'm finally seeing skin growth apart from the callus (it's starting to populate skin over the pink sore.) I wouldn't recommend doing this if your blood sugar is bad and circulation is awful. I'm fairly active now, hence slow healing. Put tape over your toenail to prevent cutting. I am also not supposed to go up inclines due to nature of friction, but my riding mower ran out of gas and I was about to climb the hill without discomfort.

Hikers Will Love Them!
My feet and hiking boots just don't get along. Never have. Big toes & nails and my pinky toes are especially prone to irritation & blisters. I've tried moleskin, all sorts of padded tape, peel-and-stick cushions - you name it. All with pretty poor results. But these work. They really work! Medium size on my big toes; Small size (trimmed a bit at the bottom) on the pinky toes. Super easy to put on and pull off. The result? No pain, no irritation, no hot spots and no blisters. They stay put - no sliding around or slipping off. After each hike I give them a quick rinse in warm water with a little soap and let them dry. Really high quality; they're built to last. Zero signs of degrading after 5 hikes. I'm one happy camper!

Size
The large is for a very large man. I’m a thin woman. The large is too big. The protectors are supposed to be for men or women. The seller does not describe the sizes in detail. They can’t be returned.

Work well
I have calluses on my toe and these work well. They don’t slip off. They help with the pain and they’re not too bulky so I can wear during the day with shoes.

GAME CHANGER for a professional hiker!
My day job is to take peoples dogs off leash pack hiking on the mountain trails around Salt Lake City, Utah every morning all year long, rain, snow or shine! Needless to say, over the last 4 years of doing this, I have put a LOT of miles on my feet, and turning 40 next month, my tootsies aren't getting any younger! The outer edges of my big toes tend to take a real beating and develop painful callouses, no matter how much I pumice and lotion and baby them when I'm not hiking. Besides hiking 3-5 miles for my day job, I'm also an avid recreational hiker and have conquered peaks like Timpanogos and Half Dome as well as long trails like The Wave, Redwood Forrest trail, golden cathedral, camelback mountain and many more in recent years and I will be hiking the Inca Trail in 3 weeks to summit Machu Picchu in Peru on my 40th birthday. I've been breaking in a new pair of boots for that trip, and decided to try these toe caps along with a new sock configuration to cut down on foot pain and I think I've hit on the winning combination! These toe caps are an absolute game changer and an integral part of my successful combo! For reference, I wear size 8.5 womens shoes and have small to average sized feet. I bought these toe caps in size medium and they fit PERFECTLY without being too loose or too tight. The ideal setup for long or steep hikes for me seems to be . . .A pair of Injiinji crew sock liners (with the individual toes)These toe caps over the top of the sock liners of each big toeA pair of Darn Tough full cushion boot socksHoka One One Anacapa boots or Salomon XA Pro 3D shoes depending on the seasonSince I started using this combination I have experienced ZERO foot pain, ZERO blisters, ZERO chaffing or hot spots! I'm truly amazed at the difference in how my big toes feel after hikes now since I started wearing these and I will forever more wear them whenever I hike! They're very easy to wash after use and reuse and I love that I can wear them under or over my InjiInji liners! I seriously can't recommend these enough for people who are on their feet a lot and deal with big toe pain or callouses, or for anyone planning a big backpacking or hiking trip to take as a precaution! I will update this review after I've worn these on the Inca trail and let you know how they held up, but I'm SO excited to have found them before the trip!I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else. And yes, I paid FULL PRICE for these and have now recommended them to everyone in my hiking group! Feel free to ask any questions!
