Trish McEvoy Eye Definer Refill

Great product

I have purchased this for many years and it is a great Eyeliner and it is very easy to apply and I have purchased her Eyeliner Brush and it works really well. The Eyeliner is a soft look and it stays on for a long time and I use it Along My Eyelashes for a really good look.

Product was packaged carefully but when I opened it some chunks and a lot of loose powder fell out. I though well shipping is hard on a product like this. But when I went to use it I took a flat brush wet it with Trish McEvoy Finish Line and dabbed it on the product and the whole think completely crumbled and made a mess of my bathroom. I have never had this problem before and have been using this for about 25 years. I can only assume that is was really old and dried out or stored improperly

The best eyeliner. You need a specific brush for it. A small flat brush that Trish MacAvoy sells.

I have been a devoted fan of the Laura Mercier cake liner for 15 years. It is now discontinued. Trish McEvoy Eye Definer is not in the same league. It is not as finely milled or as heavily pigmented. It is very difficult to get the product to transfer to a brush. The application is not as smooth and it doesn’t set well. Product runs within hours. My search continues.

This black shadow/liner is a very mixed bag of opinions for me. I love how heavily pigmented it is and how easily it goes on the brush and applies. It's beautifully smudgeable! Unfortunately it's also very smudgeable. It performs great along my lower lash line, but I can't tight line my upper lashes because it transfers to my lower lash line and smudges. It seems to completely break down when exposed to moisture. However, when applied with the intention of creating a smoky eye it's great that it smudges so well. I think if you figure out how and where you want to use it it's fantastic. The process of familiarizing yourself with it's attributes is a bit challenging. I'm glad I tried it out on a day I had no intention of going anywhere because I ended it looking more raccoon than glam goddess. I'm certainly still going to use it, but I do believe it's applicability is limited.

Been using this product for a while and have been frustrated that it is hard to find in retail. However, once again Amazon came to the rescue. This easy to use, water activated eyeliner is a terrific product.

It was more of a brown shade, not as expected.
