It's comfortable and works like it should.
I just used my booster cushion today for the first time. I put a few rocks in it before using it but it took awhile to squeeze all of the air out of it so that it wouldn't float. Once I accomplished that...it worked perfectly. It was comfortable to sit on and elevated me enough that my spa jets would hit my back exactly where I needed. I really can't ask for anything more in this cushion other than long life and that remains to be seen. I would buy this again.

Booster Cushion Works
I ordered this product for my hot tub, just to give me a little boost up so my chin could stay out of the water when the jets were turned on. The product is submersible but it took a good 10 minutes before it would sink, until then it was like a life jacket, floating away. Once it was completely submersed, it worked well and stayed where I placed it. When it was time to get out of the tub, it was super heavy, like lifting a 15lb brick. I ended up just leaving it in the hot tub so I wouldn't have to go through the process of trying to submerse it again the next time. Other than that, it work like described and gave me just enough of a boost to keep my head out of the water.

Get the air out!
I was prepared to only kinda like this product but was desperate for a solution for my too deep hot tub. The first thing I did before using it was submerge it in the water and squeeze as much air out as I could. That filled the cushion with water and it wasn't floating on top of the water. Now that it is heavier, it is easy to get in place and I don't feel at all tippy.. It does float a bit when I'm not using it but is mostly submerged as you can see in the photos. It doesn't seem to interfere with the filter system at all. I leave it in the hot tub all the time. I'm very delighted with this product. The key seems to be getting the air out!

Lasted 2 years stored in tub
I’m back to buy another to replace the first one. After 2 years of being stored in the hot tub underwater the zipper broke. The outer case is also starting to disintegrate. Other than that the cushion has worked as designed. Fill with marbles to keep it from floating!

Very expensive floatation device.
There is nothing to hold it down, not sure what the review is asking about "suction power". It is very buoyant. Very expensive floatation device.

Perfect booster seat in my hot tub
I am 5'5" and we have a 6 person hot tub that is just a bit too deep for me so I researched options endlessly before selecting this item. I read about many others that need suction cups to keep in place or that fall apart or were even hard seats with little legs. None of those suited my needs. This one is really great and I am very happy with it. YES, you need to submerge it and get ALL of the air out before it stays put. It takes time, be patient. YES its heavy once you get it fully soaked down, but I just keep mine in the hot tub and it doesn't move around. Its very comfortable and really the perfect height for me. I now no longer have to worry about getting my hair in the water or feeling as though the water line is too high for my comfort. I plan to purchase a second one for guests who might enjoy a booster seat as well. Highly recommend!

Update - stars removed. ....It can allow you to get into a better position to have the jets work your back or ...
A booster seat is helpful if you are short (i am) or if you have kids in the spa. It can allow you to get into a better position to have the jets work your back or shoulders the way the tub was meant to work. If you have kids, it helps them to keep above water on the deeper seats. Our hot tub does not have a cool down seat. I can stack two of these boosters together and use it as a cool down seat. I loaded the 'pocket' with golf balls instead of stones or marbles. This worked well once it was totally emerged.I leave my booster in the water so I do not know how long this will last. I purchased the Water brick and also Belize - since i wanted two seats. As far as cost, they were only a buck apart. I will update this post if /when one or the other needs to be replaced.UPDATE - JULY, 2016 ..Went into the hot tub and moved the seat out of the way. Sat down and found myself sitting on golf balls. Yikes. Pulled the seat back to me and it had disintegrated along the seams. I am going to contact the company. The Waterbrick is fine - no issues or wearing seams. So, with this very unofficial experiment, I have to go with the Waterbrick over the Belize. I know, you may say - the chlorine may have eaten away the stitching. But, I would respond, they know this product is for a hot tub so it should be able to hold up even with chlorine. I do not remove the seats when I leave the hot tub. If they both would have fallen apart I may not be so quick to remove the stars. However, this product did not last me very long - 4 months at best. Unacceptable for the money.

Hot Tub booster cushion works 2 ways!
The cushion is great. Well made. I would recommend getting marbles or something to weight it down so it doesn't slide or move around or float to top BUT..Interesting discovery we don't have marbles yet so when not needed to sit on it, it floats. I put my arms across it and lay against the jets comfortably with arms relaxed on cushion. It's so comfortable both ways we are going to order another one. One to sit and one to relax arms. Be sure to drain before removing from hot tub that way all water stays in tub.
