This works great if you have hard water or awful water as we do in North Louisiana. Easy to install. Using it I noticed a few things. My color lasted longer which meant less trips to the salon (saving money=win). My hair was a lot healthier and growing better. My skin wasn't as dry and tight getting out of the shower. It fits well on multiple types of shower heads. The only negative is I wish it came in different finishes because it's chrome and I have black fixtures so I have this big chrome piece attached between my shower head and the wall.

They’re easy to replace and works great to keep all that brown out of white hair.

Chlorine is the worst thing that is put in our water supply. It dries your hair and skin and your skin also absorbs into your body at a rate so rapid it is alarming. I ordered the shower head with filter; AquaCare By HotelSpa Filtered Shower Head Extra-Large 5 Inch Chrome Face 6 Setting Showerhead with 3 Stage Shower Filter Cartridge Inside and installed it myself with ease. The first thing I noticed was that in two days the ends of my below the waist length hair that is usually dry was smooth and shiny like new growth. Then two weeks later the breakage of my very fine hair stopped. The other, my skin is not near as dry and everyone knows dry skin ages at a rapid rate. I gave the shower head with filter to my natural blonde daughter. She loves it so much she wants to take it on her travels and install it until she leaves where she is staying. I also recommended the filtered shower head to a friend and she discovered her expensive hair color lasted longer. I changed the filter six months later with this and will continue do so … oh … forever.

We have very hard water and very heavy mineral-based water that actually breaks my skin out and dries it out. I use this with my shower head and I can tell a difference in my water. It's really easy to replace. I don't see an issue with water pressure. I think it's worth it to try it out and see if it helps with your water.

I purchased the new shower head because of the option of this filter as even though we have a water softener and a whole house water filter my hair was turning orange from the iron in our well water. It took a while, but my hair is finally its natural color, a mixture of white, gray and blonde. I can't say for sure that it is because of this filter, but nothing else has changed.

I live in Arizona and this really worked to help soften the water in my shower. I just wish the shower had it goes in was made of a different material so it could last longer. Other than that, great product.

I’ve been using this brand for 2-3 years now. I live in NYC in a really old building (built 1927) so imagine how old the plumbing is. I feel like this is sufficient, but I feel like there could be some improvements to either the filter or the head. I still notice a film build up from the water in the shower head that has to get physically cleaned. If all chlorine, etc, was removed from the water that should not be happening. I change the filter based on its recommended timeframe. That being said, it’s an improvement from having no filter. I don’t feel like wasting money trying new filters so I’ll probably stick with this one.
