It's a great product all the way around. I purchased for a relative that had a deep split on the thumb. It initially stings but it's quickly gone. It protected the skin and stopped pain. I highly recommend this product.

Good stuff
My husband had a deep big cut that should have had stitches. Being that no one wants to use the ER right now, new-skin was the perfect solution. It was easy to use and had easy to follow directions. His finger is healing nicely.

Not helpful for finger cracks
I bought this product to help heal repeat finger cracks. Not only does it hurt like heck when you first put it on, but it doesn't heal them any faster than bandaids with neosporin does.

Have been using the original product for many years--this is a nice improvement to this great product--but i still will keep a couple of the original product in my desk.
