I initially purchased this after my last hair dresser stripped my healthy hair without my permission or knowledge, all because it was 'too smooth'. Ugh! My hair was a dried up, tangly mess for months. I tried so many products before landing on this and it helped so much after even just the first use! It's thick and stays in place, it smells great, and it seems to help coat damaged strands. My hair is much healthier now (after two years!), but I still occasionally use it as a moisture boost. Worth the price tag, especially if your hair is suffering.

This has significantly reduced my hair shedding and makes it easy to comb through, even when my hair is wet. I’ve been a fan of the Nioxin line for a while. Sometimes, I leave this mask in for a few hours before washing it out, and my hair ends up silky and shiny.

I've been using Nioxin products for years. I love that the products work great and have little or no scent. TheDeep Protect Density Mask works wonders on my hair. I find that the added moisture improves my hair. I'll continue to purchase this product.

My second order arrived in a soft bubble package. No damage to the package on the outside but I could smell the product before opening so I knew that was a bad sign. I careful cut the top open and the pump-top of the bottle was completely unscrewed and product (even though very thick) had leaked all over. It’s far too expensive to waste on conditioning the plastic package so I’m returning it. I suggest the lids be taped shut and sent in a padded box next time?

I love conditioners that actually moisturize without wearing your hair down! They are very hard to find! This not only moisturizes , but gives my hair lots of body. Totally worth the price because you don’t have to use as much to get great results.

I have the regular Nioxin 4 conditioner as well, but it is more of a light, daily conditioner. This mask version is thick and more deeply conditions my hair. I use it once or twice a week. I also LOVE the scent! So clean and fresh. Rinsing it out feels like running your fingers through silk.

The product was all over the bag and over half was gone.
