Great for deep conditioning/ hot oil treatment
I have locs and prefer to do my detox and deep conditioning at home (it’s cheaper than the salon) so I bought this steamer for the deep conditioning. I’m sitting here with this cap on now and I can feel the heat. It takes maybe 5 minutes to heat up but it does works just fine. Easy to use, light weight, fits well on my head and cute design.

Can’t complain much about it, it helps a little
It does the job! I have bought a couple years ago if I’m not mistaken and I can’t complain it steams my hair. But wish there was more setting and that I could move around with it.

Make sure you have cheap throw away caps.
Works very well. My daughter has 4C hair and I have 3B hair and it works amazingly for both of us. This has been the only thing that has helped the deep conditioning penetrate the hair follicles for my daughter and had her frizzy curls look defined and bouncy! I recommend for everyone to get this.
