It's not what it says it is.
Max 300 watts, it has a great guage. But looks arnt everything at 55.00. I have one I paid less for. That dose more. And I got the 40. I would send it back. But I have a small use for it. Even the USB 1.5 amp says out dated 🙄. Looks cool. But it might as well be one of the small blue ones. Put a 100.00 with it. Get a good one. This is why I buy these. Just to tell you.

Why would an MPPT controller then state it's PWM efficiency??
Well, which is it? As an electrical engineer, I can assure you this is not a MPPT controller. That controller is much more expensive to manufacture due to the complexity of the buck converter that needs to be part of the system. By bucking the voltage down to the charge voltage, higher charging currents are available since the MPPT is utilizing as much of the input power (voltage x current) as possible. A PWM just turns the charge voltage on and off so that the AVERAGE charge voltage is the correct charging voltage. This is wasteful, but cheap to build.
