Avedis Zildjian Company Fx Oriental China Trash - 10 Inches

I bought this cymbal to use as an accent cymbal along side an 8” A-series splash. It is a little over powering when compared to the a series tiny splash, but they compliment each other so well when used in the right way. Keep in mind this cymbal arrived less than 2 hours ago so I am still getting to know it and it’s possible applications. But I have to say I could not wait for this cymbal to arrive, and now that it has, and it sounds great, I am a happy camper!!!!

I've been playing Zildjian cymbals for over 20 years and I've never had a problem with them, nor have I ever had to replace them. I bought this cymbal to add some more color to my cymbal selection. I have a Platinum 20-inch China Low Boy which I use as a crash-ride and I wanted another another China that I could use for a crash.Now you're probably saying, "Why buy a cymbal mail order? You haven't played it!" I had played this model of cymbal at a local music store and I have found that Zildjian produces a very consistent sounding product. The cymbal I purchased from Amazon sounds virtually the same as the one I tried in the local music store.I'm very happy with the purchase and the 18-inch FX Oriental China Trash is a great addition to my drum kit.

This little guy adds a special sound that appeals to me. It’s like adding a special spice on food, not too much but enough to satisfy the palate.

You can’t go wrong with it.Nice attack, low sustain, great for a center piece atop of the toms.I wanted the Gavin Harrison’s sound and I got it.I’m a Zildjian guy since the early 90’s.You can’t go wrong with this cymbal.

All of the Oriental, A and K series cymbals are amazing. Zildjian is next level. Enough said.

I was inspired to purchase this particular effects cymbal after seeing Mike Mangini use these in concert with Dream Theater. He stacks a 10" Zildjian ZXT Trashformer on top of it to get a super quick decay / trashy / barking effect. This particular combination sounds really sweet as an off-beat crash accent on double bass patterns, funks it up quite nicely. I would highly recommend this cymbal for any drummer looking to add new voices to their kit.

Love the bright wash sound. I believe if you use it properly. A guy could get a more sopisticated female to date at gigs...
