I love when projects come with everything needed. It was very easy, worked exactly like the directions described, and my kids really appreciated the ability to erase and redo. It does leave a bit of a smudge, but better than having to scrap the whole thing because it was done in marker.

I made a bunch of Kirby key chains for my friends and they turned out super cute. The paper shrinks well and the colored pencils and keychains worked nicely. Make sure to top coat the keychains though or else the colored pencil will smudge around.

I got these for my kid, but I'm loving them too! I like that it cones with pencils, but since they seem to be watercolor pencils, the pigment is water soluble and can smudge off easily, so I reccomend using regular colored pencils and/or using a clear coat to protect your design. I'll probably be ordering some epoxy to do just that.The sheets are easy to trace designs onto if you have a printer, or you could probably just use a device screen tooIn the picture you can see the designs I did for earrings next to the stencil I started out with for size comparison. You might also be able to tell how they don't always shrink perfectly symmetrically. I'm not sure if that's because my temperature wasn't consistent enough because I used a little toaster oven.

My granddaughter and I had fun. The only thing what I didn't like was that the sheet is not so thick. Okay,it was our first time making Shrinky Dings. My granddaughter tried to cut her painted picture out and the plastic sheet cracked further than it should (where she was cutting)...she is 12 and like to do crafting. I tried it too ,and it was the same. It needs to be cut out really carefully and with a lot of space around the painted picture...that is what I did then...So,you may assist and help your child if the child is younger or if you do it the first time ( and then you may try at first to cut a little piece ,without anything painted on it, to get a feeling for it...believe me...so you don't see any sad tears).

Follow the directions and make sure to keep an eye on your shrinky dinks. Everyone's oven is different and runs at different temperatures so just be mindful. Otherwise this is a great product and fun for crafts.

I love this! I'm 22 and I babysat a 9 year old girl. We did these for about 2 and a half hours! We loved watching them shrink in the oven. The only thing is I strongly suggest using resin or something like clear glue or nail polish to cover the side you draw on because it will smudge and the pencil remains fall off (after cooking) these took about 2-3 minutes and I bumped up the temp up a few degrees from what they suggested but some did lay flat all the way so maybe that's why

I had recently rediscovered shrinky dinks from my childhood and was having fun making crafts using this kit with my daughters. The water color pencils did a great job-better than I thought they would! This entire kit is worth every penny. I’m obsessed, not to mention it’s so much fun 😄 buy it, thank me later ☺️
