End-Game Nail Clippers
The last nail clippers you will buy. They are so sharp and eat through tough nails with ease. The lever and a section of the clippers that you hold are made of cast metal - they are sculpted so they don't slip and are easy to hold. They also make the clippers look sort of like a star trek style spaceship. The clippers have a nice weight to them and feel sturdy. It's hard to see these getting damaged any time soon. The manufacturer is Green Bell and this is stamped on the underside. They are known for producing high quality clippers and similar.I was hesitant to spend £15 on nail clippers, but now that they have arrived I am certain I have not wasted my money and those few extra pounds have gone into producing a high quality product.

It is the Green Bell G1205
Absolutely brilliant. I was at the podiatrist a while ago and saw how well her cutters worked. Didn’t think much more about it until I saw the Wirecutter review, and their top choice was the Green Bell G1205. This came in the Green Bell packaging marked G1205 but is a lot cheaper than the Amazon listing for the Green Bell (are you following.. 😁?).It is amazing how much better these are than any I’ve ever found in shops. Sharp, precise, easy to use.

Rolls-Royce of nail clippers
Rolls-Royce of nail clippers - in every way. Large, extremely solid build, quiet, smooth... those are the positives. The minor niggles are that like all clippers they leave your nails with sharp edges, and you still need to finish with some gentle filing; and the clippings fly sideways. These minor niggles go for all clippers I have ever used, and I must say that of all the clippers I have ever used these are among the very best. And like a Rolls, they will last for generations!

You get what you pay for!
Superb nail cutter. Some may think your crazy for paying £15 - £20 for a nail clippers, when you can get them for free every year in Christmas crackers, but they're not all made equal, and these certainly are a step above any I've used, even good ones from Boots. They're made in Japan and exquisitely finshed and have a narrow emery bar on the handle for light filing after cutting. The size I bought are for fingernails, but fine for toenails, even though they have seperate size for these. This is the only pair you'll need and you know from the feel they'll last a lifetime.

Ring the Bell for the final cut
(£14.09 March 2023)Forgot to review this after using it. I did mean to, because it is so impressive and almost two years later, it's just as impressive every time you use it. You actually feel glad when you reach for it - because you know how good it is.I wasn't going to spend over a tenner on a nail cutter - it's just one of those things that you just buy from any bargain shop and if it goes blunt or breaks or gets lost you just get another one and carry on with your life.Well, 10, 15, or 20 years ago there was more life in those cheapo nail cutters. Not any more. Now, when it goes blunt, which they quickly do, there is no cut, just a curse when the damn thing twists your nail because it has no edge. Or, the "high quality precision steel" snaps. And you flip it over and it says Made In China underneath.Time to go to Japan. If you research nail cutters, then you quickly learn that the Japanese are the best. Germans are highly rated, my dad bought a set which I tried, and they were efficient as all German things tend to be, and also soul-less with that supremely efficient cut. These cutters have a soul. They are superlative. They are so good, that I researched nail cutters even more, and bought another, mor expensive pair directly from Japan with authentic Japanese writing on the box and a beautiful instruction manual in Japanese. If you need some nail cutters, do yourself a favour, get some that are Made In Japan. Not licensed by a company from Japan - but genuinely Made In Japan.Kai are another brand that are fantastic. They really, really are THAT good, the only reason you'd buy another, is for your travel bag, or maybe one to leave in the car, just in case you have one of those cuticle moments some day, maybe one more to leave downstairs... one in the workshop? Yes, they are that good!

Excellent clippers
These are a great pair of nail clippers.Solidly built, with a nice smooth action and clean cut.Are actually branded as “Green Bell” which appear to be highly regarded.Have a handy nail file built into the top of the lever too.Very much worth the small additional cost over your average pair of clippers.
