Broke within a few months, replaced seat and it broke again within a few months. This has a design flaw, it lacks support where it's needed. Wish I'd read the seat reviews before installing the toilet; now thinking I need to change the whole flippin toilet

Nice design to go with the d-code elongated toilet. The soft close seat would be nicer, but this one had the right price, and I'm happy with it. I love everything Duravit designs and have been very satisfied with the way all of their products work. Very high quality all the way.

I've bought two of these toilet seats and both have broken. The plastic parts should be metal. Most toilets seats at this price point at more durable

We have four Duravit toilets in the house we currently live in. Over the course of 5 years I've had to replace every toilet seat and I finally realized why. Duravit designs their seats so that they will crack over time, and you will be forced to purchase a $100 replacement seat. It's criminal. The footings underneath the toilet seat on this model are uneven. The front footers are taller than the rear footers, causing a "bowing" in the seat that will eventually force it to crack and break. NEVER purchase Duravit toilets if given the opportunity!

We have Duravit square toilets, leaving us with limited seat options. Within a few days to a few month, the seat cracks - all three have cracked in different locations. This is the third replacement of the same product we have installed in the past year. A professional installed the first replacement and we followed the supplied instructions when installing the additional two seats. Is there a more solid option will remain intact?
