EXCELLENT AND PRETTY FAST

Original factory blade lasted 7 years . It got dull but still never rusted. Replacement blade is very dull purchased in august 2021 , a little over 2 years is becoming unusable and is rusting under the same use. Good stainless steel doesn’t rust.

I bought the off brand first to save a few dollars but it is slightly to tall and grinds into the plastic surrounding it. This one works better but it does take some wiggling to get it to release. The grip is very tight. I clean mine properly and well so it has not rusted yet or look bad like some of the pictures that are posted. I will update if it changes color with proper care. The 4 stars is because it is difficult to remove compared to the original.

Now that I know how to clean it with Bon Ami, I love this blade. Before I was using Bon Ami I hated this blade and considered buying a different juicer because I replaced the blade every 6 months, but as of today, my most recent blade is 10 months old and works just like new and I juice 4-8 times per day. So the juicer and blade are keepers.HOW TO CLEAN the blade W/ BON AMI -Rinse the blade with water. Sprinkle enough Bon Ami to make a filmy thin paste and use the Breville provided black scrub brush to work into every nook and cranny on the inside and outside of the blade. Let the blade soak in the Bon Ami for 2-5 minutes (I get the blade soaking in Bon Ami while I wash the rest of the parts, and that seems to be enough time). Then use the black brush to scrub it all over again, rinse it, and you are done!It is so easy.

I have the Breville juicer and this basket was the perfect replacement. I also started boiling my basket with baking soda and it come out sparkling clean (but makes a big mess on the stove). Now I rotate them and always have a clean sharp basket.
