It honestly doesn’t make sense.
2007 Subaru Forester, fits perfectly. What’s more is It’s better quality than filters 2, 3, 4 times the price. Yes really. I mean the jury’s out on the filter media but at a glance it looks as robust as any. But it for real has sturdier construction than the Fram, Wix, and/or Purolator that I’ve used in the past. You know how flat air filters have gotten increasingly flimsy and feature less to no metal or plastic? No backbone? Just filter media and foam rubber flopping around? And coupled with most modern car’s air intake assemblies it feels like wrestling with a greasy habor seal just to get the filter in and seated correctly? Well this one has a fricken rigid METAL frame. Yes like a K&N. I mean to be honest it looks almost like one when you unbox it. Except you could buy a pack of six for what a garage charges for one. Until I see some negative data on particulate I see no reason to look elsewhere. Great buy.

How is this price even possible for a quality filter such as this?
Yes. I was skeptical, so i only purchased 1 filter. i now wish i had bought 10! Fit is perfect, and i can't tell of any difference in quality between this and the expensive filters i had been buying in the past. Another case of like 13 pages of choices for my car's specific filter type and i went through all of them searching for a happy medium of price and quality. Almost a the very end....and there this was. i usually don't wait for the full elapsed time/mileage to change filters but apparently i was due. Upon installing this new filter i noticed immediate increase in power and the engine running more smoothly. i'm very pleased with this filter purchase and i hope you will be also should you decide to purchase. Pentius PAB4309 UltraFLOW Air FilterA little big for my 2002 XTerra. Nice and stiff and not flexible like the one I took out. That may be a negative. The enclosure cover was tough to get snapped back into place.The filter media was red and not white as the picture showed. I think I prefer white so I can see how clean/dirty the media is.

Cheap, but it does the job. For city use, it's fine. For dirty areas or off-road use, K&N is the best.
