I am told the young man love the model. He liked the colors, the number of pieces was enough to excite him. As this was last minute item, Amazon delivered before Christmas. Was a win-win and would purchase again

I really had fun wIth this kit. Just did a box build build but it went together nicely and I didn’t have to fight it all! Now if only I could learn some patience and slow down I wouldn’t screw up the windshield, but that’s on me.

Amazon has adopted a tendency to ship these models on paper bags, I've had to return quite a couple models because they arrive with broken pieces. This model luckily arrive just fine, it seems like a fun model to build.

The painting of the exterior is a challenge since one of the pieces has to be taped off to provide the white and blue. The roll cage has a tricky part to bend in place and put together. I used model super glue to bond them. Looks a little like a welding job but it worked.Engine is detailedAll parts went together wellGreat model, not a beginner model though.

Generally Revell is the best fitting, clear instructions, and most detailed decals. This model was the most difficult I have ever built. I wanted it to look just like the box photos. The challenge for me was the red white and blue paint scheme on a race car. Every part was otherwise carefully painted according to instructions. I took my time and used patience, patience, and more patience. The parts fit perfectly to instructions and in the end this car looks like I bought a metal model but I know it took me weeks of patience and every bit of my experience to build it right.

This is a well designed model kit. The parts fit well and provide good detail for a plastic version. The decal sheet contains all the real-life logos, emblems and numbers. The instructions are a little confusing at first calling out numbers that aren’t really actual parts. I realized that these parts identified on the instructions indicate you should paint these to have them standout. The price is reasonable and good value.
