Ultra smooth once it was stripped and lubricated
Smooth action (added a drop of oil as it was a bit stiff out of the box - it wouldn’t go into reverse from the factory so I opened it up, cleaned with cellulose thinners which evaporates in seconds, and I used a drop of bicycle chain lube into the mechanism- I use this in most of my tools as the “shear” effect is crucial - “lubed” (not oiled as I don’t use oil - it attracts grit and shortens the life of the tool!) (3 drops / soak it in for 24 hrs and keep turning the tool so the lube gets “everywhere) but lovely now it’s properly “lubricated” and has been used. It had never slipped or jumped a tooth so you can tell it’s pretty good ! (Cheap ratchets keep jumping teeth and gears - NO suggestion that this ever will - it’s solid and precise !)
