Love the unusual sliding blade.
I bought a replacement in case the other Amtech S0282 knife got lost or damaged or whatever. love that sliding mechanism system it has, so easy to use, no problems with getting the old blade off and replacing with a new blade, I've used others but this one fits the bill. I LOVE IT!.

A huge disappointment.
This knife is unreasonably heavy and lacks structural integrity - manufacturing quality is very poor and the handle started to go part after 2 days of use. Some edges are quite sharp and weren't rounded.It is not a slide knife, it is more of a swing - the blade lifts before moving in a locked position - by the way, it doesn't lock completely and moves up and down by a couple of millimeters.The locking mechanism is OK, but it is difficult to open and close it with one hand. Needed lube as well.I have bought it for everyday use and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a good utility knife.
