This piece goes with my other staub collection. I absolutely love cooking with it for rice or orzo. I use it on my gas stove cooked up.. cleans up perfect but most importantly it cooks it perfect!

This is a heavy piece of cookware. I got it to bake bread in the oven, and to make small roasts and stews. I live all alone and cook only for myself. I don't need a 7 qt dutch oven. This is a great size for me. I can buy a cut of meat from the store, cut it into quarters, and roast one piece at a time. This weighs a ton; It's solid. I look forward to cooking with this for years to come.

Solid, great heat distribution, another great staub pan in my collection! This is the perfect size for reheating or cooking for one or two people.

I have several Staub cast iron pieces and was hoping this was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately it is way, way too small. I wish they would make a 2 1/2 Qt. like it.

I cook rice often. This is the most amazing rice cooking method I have ever come across. So glad I found it. Worth the higher price! Totally!
