This is a great product that works as intended but above all, the email customer service is exceptional. They got me out of two headaches at work so far and always replied to me in what I recall was less than one hour and it might not have even been business hours (it was 5 o clock where I was).I've been on Amazon for at least 5 years now buying things left and right and this is the only company that wowed me so much I felt compelled to leave a positive review for.As far as the product itself goes, it does the job with no signature delay, it's instant, it's a million times better than what the UPS guy uses, it's got a larger screen too, and the device is sturdy as it has survived field-work with our inspector and outlived two laptops already (if only laptops were as strong as this little guy)This signature pad can do more than you might realize, working for microsoft word, excel, infopath, acrobat etc. Just check out their website (google Topaz Systems)

Connected it to a Windows 7 computer. Downloaded the software and addons for Microsoft Word. Converted a word document to use the signature pad which saved tons of paper. This also allowed the team to go to a resident and get their signature at bedside which is helpful. We are able to upload the contract digitally to our medical records. Before we printed a 150-200 page document which got signed and we had to scan it at the copier. This allowed use to skip most of the step and save money on printing the documents out. Topaz has instructions on how to use the add-ons on their website. Easy to install and get going.

These signature pads are handy. I use them for my business to get signatures on PDFs. I had an older model Topaz for 4 years and it finally died. At right around $100, they have done the job reasonably. However, figuring out what driver(s) to download in order to make it work is a hassle. Have you ever been to Topaz's website? There's like 5 different things you can download and I don't know which ones I need and which ones I don't! I just kept download crap until the thing worked. Then it quit working for a day or so and we had to reboot the computer and do some other finagling to make it cooperate. So...for now, it has worked for a couple weeks without issues. There needs to be one freaking file folder or page for each model that says "this is what you need". I hope I never have to go to their website again.

I bought this so folks could sign electronic 4473s with Fastbound. It works great on my desktop. However, it refuses to work with both laptops I bring to shows so folks can sign for their background checks. Would not purchase again.

. Received product, hooked up to my computer, It works, but had to get on phone with tech rep. several times in order to get the software to work. All software you need is not as specified in booklet. Also my virus program (Panda) kept giving me a warning that I had downloaded a virus and would not continue unless I restarted my computer in order to clean the virus. after doing this several times, I called tech support. After talking with tech rep, he had me turn off virus program, download the software, then restart the virus program. Worked ok then, I guess my virus program was being a little too overprotective. Does the job. Would recommend to others

We needed to replace some older Topaz signature pads and these fit the bill. They arrived quickly and were easy to set up and start using.

Finally got my signature pad to work - but what I didn't realize when I purchased it is that the drivers are all for a 32-bit system. I have a 64-bit system and installation was crazy. I had to contact tech support to get them to help - I received an email with about 20 steps that I had to follow to force the product to work on a 64-bit. Throughout these steps, I somehow corrupted MS Word - ended up having to go into the CMD and adding the file back into the MS Office directory that way and finally was able to get everything to work properly. It was a mess. I think the description should clearly state this is for a 32-bit system only.
