My ophthalmologist recommended this for my dry eyes and what a difference it makes.I do put it in at night, as I found the ointment worked better 4 me, than the drops.The ointment makes it hard to see for a bit, so putting it in when going to sleep, made it easier. Honestly it doesn't take long for it to dissolve, I would say 5 minutes at the most.

The cream doesn't burn or hurt; the drops do burn slightly when I put in but quickly wears off..

Great at keeping eyes moist and lubricated at night. It does leave residual in the morning that gets all over the lenses in your glasses, but it beats having dry and irritated eyes.
