Very Best of

I haven`t listened to the cd yet but I have an album of Bobby Vees from the 60`s and always liked his singing. So I am sure I will like the cds I ordered.

This is a thoroughly innocent, totally pleasant hour-plus of light rock songs from the boy who filled in for Buddy Holly on the tour that took his life. Bobby is still performing. A year or so ago, he played at the Clovis NM Music Festival, held in the city where Buddy and the Crickets recorded most of their hits. Other than the music of Buddy himself and Ritchie Valens, who died in the same plane crash, this CD and one by The Fleetwoods are my favorite packages from that era, roughly 1958-'62. If you like those artists, you will enjoy this also. Almost all of the 30 tracks are worthy, and make this a good value.

A great album for your 'library' of Bobby Vee hits. Sad to say that he left us too soon. God bless the man's memory and this is a great way to remember him.

there are good songs but a lot of other songs he did that weren't that good

I was very pleased with this purchase. The quality of the record was much higher than expected. The service was excellent, and I would like to purchase more items from this merchant (Shorebird).

This Bobby Vee collection is a must to have if you love the music of the past like I do.

A great compilation of Bobby Vee’s best. It transported me back to the early 1960s with Bobby on the transistor radio. Nostalgia that puts a smile on your face.
