Great for toning my hair in between salon visits!
I have dark brown hair with red undertones. I got balayage in the salon and my hair started turning brassy after a few months. You can see warm tones in the first photo. I didn’t feel like going to the salon and paying $100+ to tone it down and got this product (T27-Beige) together with 20 volume liquid developer from Wella Color Charm.I mixed 1 part of hair dye with 2 parts of developer and 3-4 pumps of shampoo (about 1 part) because I saw my hair dresser do so to soften the tone. The internet says the color of the shampoo should be white to avoid crazy color clashes.I applied the mix with my hands (wearing latex gloves) to dry hair, trying to get the mix to colored parts only, starting from the brassier parts. My roots are natural and I didn’t want to lift the color with the mix, which allegedly also results in a brassy tone. I waited for about 30 mins, checking regularly and washed my hair. Voila, my hair looks so much cooler now!

Not bad
I don’t usually use wella but in a pinch I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the results. My client wanted a cooler, sandy tone blonde instead of the warmer first picture. She was happy so I was happy.

Love It
The media could not be loaded. Gave it to my stylist to tone my wig from the natural yellow color it has when uu first buy a 613 wig and absolutely love how it came out

T27
I mixed about half a bottle of t27 and a full bottle of t18 and 20 vol developer to take out the brass and yellow tones in my highlighted hair. It worked pretty good, might have to play with the ratios a bit more to cover up the more dark orange areas that didn’t lift as much but worked well enough to leave the house without feeling ridiculous. Didn’t feel too damaging to my lighted hair and with cutting back on hair washing, using purple conditioner and washing hair with as cool of water that I can handle it’s holding up pretty well.
