I owned a Welch Allyn for several years, it was great but having to recharge it constantly was a pain. This battery powered kit is much more convenient, smaller and more portable. Light is dim? Just throw in some new batteries rather than letting it charge for an hour before it's usable like the Welch Allyn. The otoscope lens also swings out of the way to provide access for forceps, etc. in case you ever need to retrieve a foriegn body. Overall the kit's quality is on par with the Welch Allyn, and is a fraction of the price. I really like this kit, the Xenon bulbs are very bright and the battery life is good. Very happy with it!

I purchased this ophthalmoscope that worked great for first 30 days and has since - remains turn on and never turns off - unless that batteries are physically taken out.I work 1 week - every other week and am the ONLY user of this product.Poor performance and extremely disappointing.

It works amazing

I like the set. The otoscope magnifies the eardrum and I am able to visualize without difficulty. I would have rated a five but the company missed up my order and it took them nearly a month to get this product to me. I needed it for school and it did not come in time :(

It is cheap, looks cheaper & a lot smaller than regular Welch Allyn, but I am okay with it. Not as bright as WA brand, but it still works. I like that the disposable ear pieces are compatible with WA (which I can use the ones at the offices without buying new ones), and this one uses AA batteries.

I recently purchased ADC pocket Oto/Ophthalmoscope ,.I use this 5 days a week .It is small to carry it around and works well.

The light isn’t bright enough to do an ophthalmic exam so basically it’s an otoscope only.
