Addi Click Set Bamboo Needle Case, One Size, Groen

I put this needle set on our Amazon wish list when I was researching to get myself a set of bamboo circular needles. I looked athrough many sets, read many reviews and looked at a ton of prices! Good needles get expensive! Amazon had this set at by far the cheapest price around, so I wish listed it, thinking when I had a little more spending money I would get them. My husband ordered them off this hem he list for me for Christmas. They are well worth the $125 my husband paid. It is a whole set of needle sizes and three different cord sizes, plus a piece that will allow you to jointment 2 of those cords together for an even longer length. The needles themselves feel so smooth and quick when you are knitting and the cords are great! They have this locking system so when you attach the cord it stays put, no falling out. And the cords themselves are smooth and the yarn glidesign over them. The case they come in is very nice and keeps everything neat and organized. Always easy to find the right size needle and cord. I started a new project ahortly after I got them and have been really enjoying them. I have another Addi set on my wish list, the Addi click short tip lace set. I am totally going to save up and eventually get that set as well!

Four years ago my husband purchased this knitting needle set for me for Christmas. It was the best gift he had ever given me, as I use it constantly and it is always in my knitting bag. Unfortunately, my bag was stolen out of my car this spring, and my needles were gone. We both agreed that they needed to be replaced immediately. Over four years of almost constant use, I might have had a tip unlatch once or twice, and then it was because I had been in a hurry and had not attached them carefully. It is a very rare occurrence. The joins are smooth and do not catch on the yarn. The enclosed cords and connector allow you to make a longer length if needed.I am glad to be able to purchase larger tips to add on to my set, as well as additional cords in various sizes. I love the SOS cords that have a small slit on each end for attaching a lifeline and carrying it with you when knitting lace. All Addi Click tips and cords are interchangeable so if you need something different for a particular project, you can get just the component you need and it will work with the set you already have.I prefer the bamboo tips as they are warm in my hands and don't make my hands ache like metal tips can at times.

I also have a set of the metallic Addi Clicks which I use all the time. However with some yarns they are a bit slippery. These wooden ones have a great finish, and are perfect for yarns that might be a bit slippery, that are cotton or some of the other possibilities. And also great for wool yarns! Being able to go from short to long cords is very handy. The needle case is also well thought out.

I am happy with the needles and in general the set is in decent shape. The tips are in good condition, as is the set carrying case. I was a bit disappointed to find the cords folded into the back pocket (for who knows how long) and thus they have some creases that affect their shape and function. The biggest issue with this purchase - however - is that my set did not come with US #5 tips, even though this is advertised as being part of the set. I suspect this is simply because the set is used and therefore the seller lost track of these tips or they were missing to begin with. I only realized this today when I wanted to start a project with the #5 tips and they were no where to be found! Pretty disappointed.

This is the first set of interchangeable needles I have purchased. Love the bamboo needles - they are about the only type of needles that I knit with. I have not had trouble with the join - the needles connect easily to the cables and have not come apart. The only reason I did not give this item 5 stars is because of the length of the needles. I attempted to knit a child's hat with the size 5 needles and a 16" cable that I purchased separately. The length of the needles and the cable ends up being 20" - making it impossible to knit a child's hat on the needles. If the needles were shorter, I would definitely give this item 5 stars!

Love the bamboo needles in this set. Love the Addi cords, which are much easier to work with than the cords in competitors' interchangeable sets due to pliability here. I also own the Addi short-tip set and the Addi regular or turbo set. The cases, brown and black respectively, for those two sets are far superior to the case in this bamboo set. The leather is softer and easier to work with. This green "leather" feels very stiff and cheap, thus making reaching into pockets and closing the case more difficult. This is a minor issue, though. Overall, I am very satisfied!

This is the second time I have bought this product. The first time they arrived damaged. This time the company sent me the wrong set. I love this needle set and have had them in the past, but can't seem to order them on Amazon because the third party company, Grant's General Store, doesn't seem to send the proper product or one that works. Great needles 10/10 would recommend but be warned ordering from this company. Wish I could get them!
