Simple and effective of what it is supposed to do. Got the job done.
I tried it on to make sure it would be warm enough before the winter arrives. One major feature I need is that it is washable. It has 4 heat settings, but I don't feel a huge different between them, and the high setting is definitely warm enough for winter (indoor) use in New England region. I don't have any medical condition that requires the use of feet warmer but rather want to sit comfortably while watching TV with warm feet. Wire is long enough to reach outlets around and control is about 3 feet away from the warmer, so I don't need to bow down to change setting. Contrary to other review's complain that the top material is too thin, I feel it is fine as is because this is easier to wash and dry. The heating element is at the bottom and is removable. I am looking forward to enjoying it in the winter.

Nice gift for my daughter
My daughter likes this as she has cold feet and needed warmth because her feet hurt when cold.

Disappointed at first but felt slightly warmer after the first few uses.
At first it wasn't warm enough, but the more I used it and the more the material compressed. I felt later on the heat was a nice comfortable heat level, but I would still prefer that the highest setting was a little warmer. One annoying thing is that the auto shut off light blinks indefinitely until you press the button 5 times to turn it off. It's very comfortable and plush and my wife has chronically cold feet so this is a great for those who get cold easily at their desk at home. Other than that I like that it is washable

Horrible design
I have poor circulation in my legs, and I hoped this foot warmer would help. It failed miserably. The product description on Amazon and the instruction booklet list the temperatures for the four settings. The high setting was supposed to produce 140 degrees F. After warming 20 minutes, an infrared thermometer showed only 82 degrees. There is no heat on the top, sides or back. Thus, my toes stay cold. The instructions say, "If the unit does not turn on when you press the power button, make sure the Control Connector is securely plugged into the Pad Connector." I can find no connector. The cord from the controller runs directly into the heating pad. This thing is pitiful. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Depends on YOUR Needs...
I purchased ONE for me and ONE for a friend...I am 73 and up and down from my desk every 5 minutes. A NO-GO... Returned it...But, my 68 yr old friend gets to cuddle her feet while having her morning coffee, before she is off to work at her STAND-all-DAY job. She loves it... And, Saturday / Sunday morning is her awesome, alone time...A must without burning your feet. My vest purchase gets too hot sometimes....This is a KEEP-Your-FEET Comfee...Barb

Looks like it would be perfect for my Raynaud’s but problematic
I have terrible Raynaud’s and am always looking for the latest and best device to use to keep my hands and feet warm. This one looked great because it looked soft and comfortable. It is, to an extent. On the plus side, this is really easy to use. You simply plug it in and it warms up quite nicely. I put it on high and it really wasn’t all that hot; but it was warm enough that it warmed my toes and kept my feet feeling toasty - so a big plus there. The biggest problem for me is that you have to keep your feet planted firmly on the bottom to keep your toes warm; that’s where the heat is. That’s all fine if you are keeping this on a floor and sitting upright on a chair - but if you are on a couch or a recliner, it’s a big problem. I do most of my reading and TV watching from our couch that doubles as a recliner. I can only use this by placing it on the edge of the recliner leg when it’s up and even then it’s awkward and gets uncomfortable pretty quickly. If your feel are not planted firmly on the bottom, you still have some heat, especially if you have this turned this to high, but not enough to really warm up cold toes and it sort of dangles on your feet. Needless to say, forget about thinking of using this when you are lying down. It’s too bad, other than this issue, I really do like this.
