Perfect for Junior Golfers
I have both the short and long SKLZ Gold Flex Swing Trainers. Those are great but too heavy for my 6 year old daughter. Even the 40 inch Gold Flex is too heavy for her.PROS:1. Lighter than the SKLZ gold flex. Perfect weight for junior golfers.2. Whippier and more flexible than the SKLZ Gold Flex.3. Better grip and quality than the SKLZ Gold Flex. The Grip feels like leather.4. Good length for Wedge swing training for adults.5. Comes with an instructional DVD and literature.6. Handcrafted in the USA.7. Perfect for warm up before a round.8. Teaches lag and a smooth swing.CONS:1. NoneSUMMARY:This is an excellent swing aid for junior golfers. I also use it to train my swing. Must have!******UPDATE******After using it for a month, both our swings have improved a lot. If you understand the concept of timing and Lag, this exaggerates those since it is so whippy, so that you can really feel and practice the proper release. The hinging of the wrist and Lag are what generates the club head speed necessary for distance and proper contact. After swinging this everyday for a month, I can hold on to my lag till the proper release point just before impact so much better than before. I tried it with my driver in my backyard and my swing speed increased by 8 to 10 mph. My 6 year old daughter as well gained another 10 yards on her drive. But this is not a magic training aid that you can just pick up and your swing will be fixed. I lent it to my nephew that cannot swing a club to save his life and it did not improve his swing. He was still swinging with his hands, not transferring his weight and topping the ball. My 6 year old attends the SCGA Golf Academy so she has a good swing already so it really refined her swing. My advice would be for those beginning golf to watch those videos on proper grip, stance, takeaway, lag, timing and follow through. This will help you master the last 3 if you already understand what it is you need to be practicing. This club will be useless if you still continue to cast the club by releasing early in your downswing. This exaggerates that so you really feel the release and whip.It is an awesome full body workout as well.

Decent Tool to help your swing
Great quality with no issues. Swings fairly true and helped me increase my club speed my a couple mph. But the driver version seems longer than necessary. I should have gotten the next size smaller. I keep it in the car to help warm up and stretch. I would buy it again but in the smaller size. Most drills can be researched online and are free.

Buy the original
I was looking at knockoff because this looked so expensive. I ended up watching several instructors on the internet all recommending this one. It really warms you up and gets you to turn to your target.

The original. Great whippy feel. Made in USA.
I bought both the Orange Whip Golf Swing Trainer and the Amazon Basics Golf Swing Trainer in order to compare and decide which one, if any, to keep. So I am going to do this review as a comparison between the two.First, these are both great products. You would probably be happy with either one. Here's a rundown on things to think about, and the winner in each category.Price: The Orange Whip is nearly three times the cost of the Amazon Basics. Winner: Amazon BasicsLength: This is probably less of a data thing and more of a feel thing. The Orange Whip is 47" long; Amazon Basics is 48". My driver (Taylor Made Qi10 Max) is 47". Marginal winner: Orange WhipGrip: The Amazon Basics has a very traditional, textured rubber golf grip. The Orange Whip's grip looks and feels more like a leather wrapped grip, even though it is actually rubber. No winner. Depends on what you like.Whippiness and Swing Feel: The Amazon Basics' shaft is much thicker and less flexible than the Orange Whip's. This gives the Orange Whip a "whippier" feel, and gives you better feedback when you are not swinging smoothly. Winner: Orange WhipGrip end. The Orange Whip has a white counter weight at the grip end, which contributes a lot to its feel when swinging. Winner: Orange Whip.Instructions: The Amazon Basics comes with a nice instruction sheet. The Orange Whip comes with a brochure to sell you other products, with a QR code on it taking you to a website with the opportunity to subscribe (1st month free) to what I think is a rather expensive monthly subscription of training videos. No other instructions. Winner: Amazon BasicsManufacture Country: Amazon Basics is China. Orange Whip is USA. Winner: Orange WhipIn the end, the feel of it was the deciding factor for me. I just felt the Orange Whip gave me more feedback when swinging, both on the backswing and the main stroke. I just like the feel of it with its counter weight in the handle.I returned the Amazon Basic and kept the Orange Whip. Then I was able to change the grip on the Orange Whip to my Jumbo Soft Golf Pride CSX, which are the same as what I have on my clubs. I was worried about that because of the size of the screw end which hold the counter weight on, but I was able to use a 1/2" drill bit to make the hole in my grip larger, and get it on without any problems.
