Great for weekends away, late nights, or if your cat likes to eat at 3am!
I really like this thing! I had a long enough return window to test it out. I don't want this to be too long, so I will try and put just the important tips here.1. When you create a meal schedule, NAME each dish; ie breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. This will help you if you want to reopen a dish later.2. You CAN in fact re-open a dish that has closed, as long as the feeding plan for the day has not ended. DO NOT use the Feed Now feature to reopen a dish, use the Edit Meal Schedule feature. Carefully choose the dish you want to reopen, if you named them it's easy to tell which dish you are looking at. IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE MEAL A DAY SCHEDULED, you CANNOT reopen the dish!! Once a set Meal Schedule has completed, you cannot edit it and you will mess up the next schedule if you just click Feed Now. Feed Now is for when you are not using a pre-set Meal Schedule.3. I pre-chilled my catfood in the fridge when we left for 3 days. You could even experiment with freezing the 3rd day; I haven't tested how long it takes to thaw in the feeder.4. There is battery back up, and the app tells you if the power goes out.I also purchased a PetLibro dry food dispenser, which I like even more than the wet feeder.I have a Reolink camera set up so I can see the feeders and know that the food is being dispensed. The app also tells you when the cat came to the feeder and for how long, but I wanted to SEE her.Get your cat used to the feeder weeks in advance of a trip. Cats are fussy about their food dishes!I am considering using this feeder full time. It's so convenient to clean and fill the dish the night before, and set it and forget it for the next day. If you've got one of those cats that wakes you up at 3am to eat, here's your solution lol.I LOVE that because the food tray is cool and covered, it's super easy to wash. The leftover food doesn't dry up and glue itself to the bowl like spackle. The food tray being plastic is also not an issue imo. If you have bacteria growing on your cat dish, you need to learn how to clean.I do not get people saying it's too tall. Maybe for very small kittens? My cat is on the smaller size and she can reach just fine.If your cat likes it's food room temp or warmed up, this is not for you. It stops chilling 30 minutes before the scheduled meal time. Depending on your home temp, I don't know how fast it warms up. If your house is really warm, I would not leave it for 3 days. It might get too warm for food safety by day 3.Room for improvement?? Yes. I would like it to stay open longer. I would like more than 3 meal options. I would like all 3 meal cups to be cooled, not just the back 2, along with the option to tell the machine how far before feeding to stop cooling each dish.Does it do what it says it will do? Sure does! I'm happy with it and I look forward to future upgrades.

Great purchase
We bought this item for our elderly cat so we could be gone for a few days and he could continue to get his wet food with medication. Once we connected it with the app, it has worked beautifully. The food is cool and fresh, and opens every day at the correct time. We programmed it so that the feeding door stays open for four hours (the max), although you can also open and close the feeding door anytime through the app. It’s a very well constructed and useful item. We now feel secure knowing our cat can continue to have fresh food daily while we’re away. The dinner bell is appealing and it’s also easy to clean. Very pleased with the purchase.

A great investment!
I recommend anyone seriously considering purchasing this read this entire review:This has been a life-saver with regulating my cat's feeding schedule and dis-associating being fed with my presence. This was important because she wouldn't let me sleep. She'd meow all night long wanting food and I couldn't get any sleep! Before you worry, she gets fed plenty! My vet recommended automatic feeders to help with her behavior. I bought this wet food feeder and the Pet Libro Automatic kibble feeder as well. Between the 2 feeders, she gets fed 6 times a day within the vets recommended diet and caloric intake and she no longer associates me with being fed which has allowed me to actually get a solid 8 hours of sleep! I can also spend a night away from home now and not worry about her being fed properly! I've owned this item since November of 2024.Pros:- It does great at keeping the wet food chilled but not freezing cold!- It's easy to clean and maintain!- I love the stylish matte black color.- My cat cannot force the feeding tray in either direction. She is food motivated but the gear is nice and strong!- It is app controlled with my phone which is super convenient because it keeps track of feeding habits, visits and will notify you if the power goes out or if there is some kind of error that interrupts the feeding schedule.- You can put batteries in it in case the power does go out so that it can stay on a proper schedule uninterrupted.- You can manually open the lid through the app to feed early if needed.- You can set up several different feeding schedules if needed.- The app is relatively user friendly!- Portion control. I divide 2 cans between the 3 slots equally.- If you don't want 3 servings of wet food a day, you can replace a slot or two with a nice chilled treat instead.- You can set you usual schedule to repeat day after day automatically!Cons:- **The recent firmware update has thus far seemed to resolve this but I'm still holding my breath a bit.** Every once in a while an unknown error used to occur and I'd have to reset the feeding schedule to get the lid to close and start the schedule again. I'm not sure what caused this issue but I haven't experienced it since the update, yet.- It is a little bulky. You need to find a spot for it, out of the way, and make sure you have a 3-6 inches of clearance on each side for the refrigerant exhaust or it wont chill right.- Some regular maintenance required. As a cat mom or dad, you know vents and filters get clogged with dust, fur and dander. It is no different with the exhaust vents on the feeder. Be sure to invest in a Swiffer duster or something to clean the exhaust vents at least once every other week. If your vents get too clogged, you could reduce the lifespan or even kill the feeder's ability to chill the wet food properly!- You still shouldn't keep wet food in this feeder for more then 24 hours. Throw whatever isn't eaten out after a 24h cycle. Chilled or not, this is following the manufacturer's recommendation for most wet food guidelines. If you plan to use this to dispense 1 serving a day for 3 days - please don't. I'm telling you from experience, after a day, any wet food left looks very unappetizing and does start to get crusty and grey.- The bell/ring notification when feeding starts and it's not super loud in a big house. You're cat won't hear it unless within a 2 room radius. This is another reason why I bought this in tandem with the Pet Libro Automatic kibble feeder. It allows you to record your voice and the volume of it when feeding starts so I have it synced up with the 3 feedings from the wet food feeder because it can be heard a lot better.EDIT 2/20/2025: I wanted to add a couple of tips since I've gotten a few question from folks on their feeders:1. Make sure to download the recent firmware update. It has helped greatly with some of the random lid opening/closing issues.2. If you're feeder isn't opening at the time you've set, double check the DATE you've set for it. When setting the initial schedule, the app automatically jumps to the next calendar day for the second and 3rd tray slots - so make sure if you want it to feed multiple times on the same day, that you make sure the date for each tray is the same date. Example - 5am on February 10, 1pm on February 10 and 9pm on February 10.3. This is in the user manual that the feeder comes with but is easy to miss. Avoid popping open the main larger lid during an active feeding or as its trying to open for a current feeding. I've tested this thoroughly and it will cause the smaller sliding lid to error out. Your app will show an error associated with this as well. If you need to open the feeder during these times for any reason, be ready to reset your entire feeding schedule. Otherwise its safe to open it between feedings.4. You can set the app to keep the lid open for anywhere between 2 seconds to 4 hours after it opens for a feeding. Avoid setting this to the max 4 hours if you can. The refrigerant escapes too much over 4 hours and it takes the feeder a while to chill back to the proper temperature. This could reduce the life-span of your feeder's cooling ability and reduce the freshness of wet food in the other trays. Also, if your feedings are scheduled closer together then the time setting for the lid to close - this can cause weird behavior with the lid closing. So make sure you set the lid to close before the next feeding is scheduled to start :)5. There is a device sound setting in the app if you want the Ring notification to go off more than once. It has 2 settings, Normal and Smart. Explore what works best for you!

Amazing!
I don’t usually write reviews but this thing is amazing! The wet food feeder is exactly what I was looking for, now I don’t have to wake up at 5am to feed my cat, and also while I’m at work I don’t need to worry if I’m not getting home on time. At first my cat was scared of the sound and just the overall device, so I thought I wasted some money on something she was not gonna use. But after some time, she got used to it and now loves it!!
