I was skeptical this would work because I have light brown hair. I bought this because I hate the feeling of stubble on my legs when sleeping. I have always had to shave my legs right before bed and again around 6 a.m. even though I wake up at 9 a.m. just because I can't fall back asleep if I feel stubble. I zapped my legs at the highest setting every other day for about a month. After the first day or two, it hurts like hell like burning with a hot poker but that is because I cranked it up to the highest setting and zapped over each area 3 times. I figured if it didn't work, I would know by the 30 day return window. My efforts were worth it. About 2 months later, I can now go for days without shaving and have almost hair free bottom parts of my legs. I'm so happy I can sleep in now and not get woken up with the uncomfortable feeling of stubble or having to shave my legs twice a day. Privates are proving to be more stubborn and will take a few more months I think at the rate things are going but this thing actually works. It's not painless like they say but it does work and it's not too painful to stop using. You could always crank down the setting if you are sensitive but I wanted fast results so I cranked mine to the highest setting. I think this thing fries the hair follicles with heat. I can sometimes smell burning hair during use.

Took some time to review this one since it does work over time. Got this for my teenage daughter as an alternative to a $2,000 last hair removal process her friend is having done. Both require multiple treatments over time to be effective.From what I can tell comparing my daughter’s skin with her friends, it’s the same result or even slightly better than the $2,000 dermatologist version. You can see from the picture that her hair is getting noticeably thinner in places (wish I had a before pic) and on its way towards complete removal.The included razor is disposable quality so you may want to upgrade that part of the process since you will need to do this over many weeks to get to a hairless state. Laser glasses are included for safety and the device itself is very easy and comfortable to use.Overall very satisfied with the product, but do note that it is not a one shot solution and it does not work on all skin/hair types.

Arrived super quick, instantly felt high quality from the packaging to the product itself. Nice touch with the thank you cards and razor to prep to use the device. I’ve only used a couple of times so far, but it has beyond passed my expectations. After one use I felt like I could see and feel a difference in the rate of hair growth and also the coarseness. And it was only used on level 1, I believe the second use was on level 2. Haven’t tried the other functions besides the hair removal, but very interested to soon, just have to get over irrational anxieties lol. Definitely worth the investment, I could only imagine if I stayed consistent I’d be shaving like once a month (which is huge for me).

I love the design — it was the first thing I noticed. I’ve used it once on level 3, and now I’m waiting 24 hours to see how my skin reacts before using it again on level 5. I wore the goggles as recommended, and it’s definitely better not to look directly at the light. Use a white pencil to mark your legs and divide them into 4 sections so you can go area by area without skipping any spots!I marked an X on the parts I had already done.It felt fine — with time, it gets a little warm and stings just a bit, but nothing too intense. I recommend unplugging the device if you’re doing a session that lasts more than an hour so it can cool down, because it does heat up.The automatic mode is the BEST part because you don’t have to press the button every time — it flashes by itself.Once you hear the sound, you can start moving along the rest of the leg. It’s amazing.The cord isn’t super long, but if you use an extension cord, it makes everything easier.Honestly, I love it so far.Can’t wait to see results soon!

I've had this for 3 weeks now. I've used it much more than the recommendations. Most of the time I use it every other day. Sometimes I'll just work on my legs for 20-30 minutes each while watching TV. At first I was scared and kept it at setting one, but I would recommend that people try increasingly higher levels on your legs in different spots, in one sitting. Then wait till the next day to see how your legs handled it. I was very worried and so a few of the days, I only used the one or two setting. That probably was a waste of time. I've not shaved my legs in 6 days, and although it sort of feels to the touch as though there is growth, there is none really above the skin. It is definitely working and I'm very excited. In a few areas I can see hair growth under the skin, but it's not coming to the surface. Very excited to see what a few more days of using this will bring.
