It is actually pig’s fat ... this is where you go go no further when you have a palate used to corned beef and crisps ( I truely feel sorry...). Otherwise, this is the utmost you can reach in terms of delicacy and scrumptiousness : wrap a thin band around a raw scallop and pan fried it for a couple of minutes ... you reach Heaven ...

Really good lard
A nice italian lard, I discovered it in Italy and had to rebuy it online as it was soooo good. Once again really tasty, perfect for an aperitif or for some recipes
