I almost had a panic attack when I thought they stopped making these. I love my water bottle. It has a sturdy place to attach a carabiner on top, and I love the fact that the bottom comes open for extra thorough cleanings. Strong enough to put up with all of my abuse as I drag it from work site to festival to campground. Most importantly the design of the drinking spout is easy to clean, unlike some other previous bottles I've had that collected grime in all of the nooks and crannies. This one is easy to get to all the spots and doesn't have an annoying straw, or sippy cup mouthpiece like other brands. . The mouthpiece is wide enough that you can chug a lot of water at a go, the top unscrews so you can add ice cubes if you want to, it stays insulated forever. The metal is thick enough that even if you drop it 100,000 times it retains its shape and doesn't dent, and the black coating has barely chipped even after years of use. The rubber band that makes it pop open broke on mine after years of aforementioned abuse, but was easily replaced with a rubber band. I have mine covered in stickers and will probably buy a couple more as backups because I will be truly devastated if this company ever goes out of business.

This makes maintenance a breeze and ensures the bottle stays hygienic. I really wish this bottle came in a larger size. On weekends and hot days, I might take a longer trek, and I find myself with an empty bottle halfway through my walk. A bigger size option would make this perfect for extended outings.Another feature I love is the locking mechanism. I've dropped the bottle a few times, and the lock has kept the spout secure, preventing any spills and ensuring I don't lose my source of hydration. The durability and practicality of this bottle make it a must-have for anyone who enjoys long treks or just needs a reliable water bottle.Overall, this is a great bottle that combines convenience, durability, and excellent insulation. Loved the features of this water bottle, with a few caveats. First of all, it's freaking huge. That's on me for probably not paying closer attention to the description, but the base is 3" in diameter, which is about 0.5"-1" bigger than my other water bottles. It unfortunately won't fit into any of my cup holders, and as I bought this primarily for using in the car, that's no bueno.The 2nd caveat I see as a design flaw: the base that unscrews is 100% plastic. The main body of the bottle is double sided aluminum, and having a plastic screw in portion of the base going into the aluminum body will cause problems long term with cross threading, wear, leakage, etc. It might be remedied with a little plumber's tape, but why would you have plastic piece screwing into a metal piece?Other than that, the bottle is well built, seems super easy to clean, the silicone nozzle is genius, and locking fixture is great. If there were a smaller version (say 20oz??) that would fit into most car cup holders that had an aluminum bottom, I would give 5 starts and buy 20 of them.
