It was smaller than I expected, but it turns out it was exactly what I needed. It's very sturdy, it was very simple to put together, and I'm certain I'll be using it quite a bit. It makes standing up from a chair, so much easier and safer while I recover from surgery.

While the pricing was fair and it was easy to assemble (and disassemble) I am not sure about the sturdiness of this product, as it can move and shift as you are holding on to it. I think the stability is not as good as it could be and therefore, the support is a bit lacking. It is adjustable size-wise so it will fit any sized person, which is a plus.

This product was a complete waste of money. The assembly instructions were incredibly confusing and the pieces felt flimsy and cheap. It never felt securely attached to my couch, making me constantly worried it would tip over. Instead of assisting me, it became another obstacle in my living room. I strongly advise anyone needing a reliable standing aid to look elsewhere.

I bought this for my 85 year old mother. It's great for small spaces like a walk in closet or bathroom.

Easily assembled, but when complete it's not as solid as I want.

This is a bit unsteady for a senior with gait problems but I've found it handy when I'm sitting on the floor and happen to be near it, to use to steady myself getting up. I'd say this is great to have if you've got someone fall prone, but strong and steady enough to get up on their own, as they can use this to help get back up, but it's not really that useful to get up out of a chair bc it tips and is lightweight.
